Will be in Helsinki on Sunday night and again on Thursday night (3 weeks from now). Generally there are no places in Helsinki, where both freebies and WGs hang around. You have to choose different places for each plan. For WG's there are almost monopoly, almost all hunt customers in one nightclub only, Soho.

Strangely, their web-site is down but they have been in the biz longer than Soho and even outlasted Mikado.

Thanks[/QUOTE]It's a bar, I've only seen Eastern European girls, you meet them and negotiate the price with them, then go back to their apartment in the city (usually very simple / cheap place) or to your hotel / apartment. There is an entrance fee, can't remember how much though. At least 10 Euros though. Plus, the coat check and then the girl expects you to pay her coat check on the way out (assuming you get "lucky").

Alcatraz = same thing, smaller bar.

It's just a misunderstanding really. The site is definitely about sex / prostitution, but what is illegal in Finland is pimping. Sometimes you will see a note in the advertisement that says (in Finnish)"I am doing this alone, and of my own free will" (along those lines, not exactly.).

Also, for example, the police have raided Soho and Alcatraz in the past but they only take the girls who are without proper papers, not because they are prostituting themselves. Same with the thai massage places, which have been raided because of allegations of tax evasion.

However, I must disagree on the first part regarding Asian massage parlours. 15 "interviews" is certainly an impressive data collection but the EUR 200 price tag is way above my experiences, and I've visited about 15-20 thai massage places in Kallio over the last few years. Never has the price for massage + full sex gone beyond EUR 150. Price for 30 minute massage is always EUR 30, and then sex is almost always 100-120 on top of that. The only time when that has not been the case, is when the girl refuses sex altogether and only does handjobs for a reasonable price of EUR 30-40. And I wouldn't consider it lousy, either, but just rather average.
