But some girls may mistake your generosity for weakness and try to exploit it. I would suggest not offering anything upfront (you'd pay for everything, anyway), but if she made you happy during the vacation, give her a nice "gift". Which is weird, right?! You are going after Japanese men who probably slept with a lot of Japanese women and you are made up like a Japanese girl. Breakfast is pretty good there.[/QUOTE]I watched football at Gulliver's on Soi 5 - a pub style bar with pool tables and lots of TVs. They will put it on for you if you ask. They have food also. It's a nice bar. You can actually relax without a whole bunch of girls bothering you. But there is enough eye candy to keep you happy. If you get bored, you can put your name in line for a pool game or two! They open at 11 AM. I did see a good sports bar at Raddison Blue. Can't remember the Soi. They'll probably have it. Thai girls I have taken all over Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Macao. Philippines girls to many places in Philippines only. Chinese girls to all over China including couple for Yangtze cruise.

No money discused upfront. Those that set a fee I do not take. Because they think money only and not to enjoy with you. If a girl is willing and friendly after meeting and having fun I tend to take them on vacation. It makes like a romantic trip.

Yes, vacation becomes expensive. In USA the girl you take will pitch in or buy her own knickknacks and their own outfit. No money given to USA girls.

Asian girls I met are not rich and do not have anything. I have to buy clothes, swimwear, makeup kits etc before the trip. Once on the trip they want to buy gifts for family and friends mostly knickknacks. I need to pay for those. Air tickets, hotel, food are expensive st vacation places. After all that I do compensate her time. No set fee but need to give something. It depends what you feel like giving. 5000 baht a day maybe too much after all the expenses. More like 2000 a day.

If you meant you need a single girl to stay with you during your vacation you need to compensate according to the going rate. If they work in the bar they need to be compensated accordingly. But if they are normal girls from dating sites you generally give lumpsome at the end.

There is no smoke in the air, and the Japanese style is down to a smaller percentage than I have seen in years. There are more Koreans and Chinese now. The number of Falangs going seems to be increasing.

You ain't getting nothing out of there for 1000 B unless she is a dog and its closing time.

But Thermae will always be my favourite since my first trip way like 25 plus years ago.

If you read this thread, the going rate is 2500 baht (maybe 2000 if she is not that attractive and / or desperate).

Emotional / physical based love a la western values is usually a short lived phenomenon with a life span a couple of years. After that its compatibility shared interests family etc that decides the success or otherwise of where it goes next.

I would suggest he spends more time getting to know her better, enjoy the relationship without committing himself. I guess this is easy to say but nigh impossible when you are falling madly in love with a beautiful Thai girl. I know I've been there but even if it doesn't work out it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. I wish him luck.

Do not overspend I. E. Take her on a shopping spree to Gaysorn with stops at Louis's, Hermes and Prada. For sure the odd trinket to show your appreciation is allowed but lavish spending sends out the wrong signal.

As you say there is a big age difference and while I'm sure this girl is no hard core grifter you can never be certain what her true intentions are.

One last piece of advice if she ever asks for money for some family emergency while not always this is usually bad news.

Nobody knows what's inside unless you bring it to a laboratory for a test. I had a Thai friend who had one friend of her who sold the orange juice bottles, she advised me to never buy these bottles as they were always cut with something. A few month ago it made the headlines with a video of Vietnamese preparing these bottles and laughing when putting some other stuffs inside. Thais in social media were very angry at them.

OK, so it seems FS is not really going to happen in the bar anymore, sign of the times I guess. So how about establishments where they'll pull it out and give you a tug? Apart from the obvious places on Soi Cowboy, anyone know of somewhere this is a regular thing done in a dark corner?
