I was in Sao Paulo on business and pleasure. A couple of my female friends from the States had been talking about getting away to Brazil (Rio) to chill out but only if they had an escort for safety reasons. So I agree to be Sir Lancelot and we arranged to meet in Sao Paulo because I was still on a project. Mistake #1. I introduced my American friends to my stage 3 clinger law student Brazilian girlfriend at the time, so they would have someone to show them around during the day in Sampa and of course check out the nightlife. Mistake #2. Well turns out while I am absent my American friends invite my girlfriend to join us for the weekend in Rio. LOL bear with me it goes down hill from here. Imagine my shock when I find out. I secretly had intentions of partying and hooking up with these girls.
Okay so we are in Rio staying at the JW Marriott, the 2 girls in one suite and me and my girl in another. I forgot to mention this was my first trip ever to Rio so what came next I just was not prepared for.
Apparently my American friends got some intel from there dude friends that they had to check out this place if they made it to Rio and wanted to go clubbing all night.
Yeah it was Help Discoteca. I was in friggin ground zero of marca de bikini bunda heaven at the time and didn't even realize it. Well this had to be quite possibly the worst time ever for me in Brazil. And I never thought that was possible in a land I had come to know as paradise.
Once inside Help my girlfriend was cock-blocking every single Brasileira that made eye contact with me and would hardly let me out of her sight after I took 10 minutes to get drinks LOL. I'll never forget the confrontation she had with a working girl that just happened to smile at me. She literally wagged her finger in this girls face and then proceeded to give me an ear full 'Is this the type of piranha you like'? In my mind the answer was HELL YEAH and I had to fight the urge not to laugh as my female friends from the States were like OMG and laughing under their breaths. After apologizing for my behavior and blaming it on the alcohol I managed to behave myself but it was torture. Don't get me wrong in hindsight my girl was a 10 complete package w / looks, educated, good family background, personality but she was a little too skinny and inexperienced in the sack. I can't help it like that safadinha vibe.
Even though I was pissed at my friends I took a bit of consolation knowing that they looked like total trashy working girls and were dressed much worse than the real pros in the house. And the attention that they received was less than positive and they did not even get laid (trying too hard). Guess they had the misconception that Brazilians are sex crazed and they have no morals.
When I finally got through this hell weekend (sem bunda from even my girlfriend) and back State side I found out about effing Help Discoteco from my buddies and ISG. I still look back from time to time at these photos and think about being in the Bunda Mecca and not doing a goddamn thing. After this debacle I swore to make up for that lost opportunity with each and every trip to Brazil! Most importantly as far as Rio is concerned travel solo and never ever bring the sand to the beach LOL.
