I very much agree about saying no. I'm not seeing any way to verify this person unless someone here would vouch for them. And in that scenario they probably wouldn't ask for a deposit.

I continued the conversation to get the info. She's asking for 1500 pesos. Pretty much her minimum rate. It sounds like a straight up scam and it's maybe not even the girl.

Even if it is the girl the number is too high I think. Basically there would be no reason to actually show up seeing as how she already had the money.

So my strategy is to get very specific about what I want and tell them that if they are energetic and enthusiastic I'm willing to tip 500. It worked very well in this instance for my friend.
