Just arrived yesterday for my 2 week Thailand holiday.

In Bangkok, I like Nana Plaza with many GoGoBar inside.

Sparkys and Twisters (upstairs) my favorites there.

I avoid SOi Cowboy, many Coyote Girl, you cannot barfine.

Today I checked Butterflies and I liked it.

I barfined a girl with 700 Barfine +3000 LT.

She was not one of the dancers, just sitting outside and doing promotion.

Some girls are so honest they would report to the bar any outside liaisons and still pay the BF. I meet girls privately to avoid BF and drinks cost and wasted time. This is for 90 minutes meet up for sex. She may take less than 3 K for a regular reliable source of income especially if outside bar hours. If she is popular and does not need it, she may not take less.

You did not say how much time you want to spend with the girl. Even a week non stop (24 hours per day) was possible at least years ago, like taking girl on a holiday. One bargirl I know well has been taken away to other countries by a guy. You have to negotiate a price with her for what is fair. She won't want your business if is going to cause her to lose money, or she doesn't like you, or she has other commitments like a baby, lives with parents, has a pimp / BF, etc. A sure daily income for a girl can be very attractive though, when normally girls have unreliable money coming in. Only the girl will know what she has to lose by taking up your offer, and therefore what amount is worthwhile. Negotiation maybe needed.

In Phuket, prices are also outrageously high for some non-mongering goods (like transportation, 5-10 x more than in Bangkok), and the locals are not too friendly, only there to squeeze money form tourists.

If you just want a nice beach, I'd go to places other than Phuket too.

I did tip / LD a couple waitresses and felt it was throwing money away. It didn't do much for me except make them a bit more helpful but ultimately just got me bugged for more drinks.

With Mamasan I think 6/10 bars it helped make good things happen and a couple of which probably wouldn't of happened.

At what's up agogo last trip it helped me take a lady I was hot after. Now your other example makes much more sense to me. If you receive 500 or 1000 baht off a barfine or you get midnight rate at 11 pm then yes that mamasan deserves a drink or a 100-200 baht tip.

If a girl you like is sitting with another guy, you can ask the mamasan to go speak to her in Thai and tell her to come to you after she is done with that guy.
