Stupid shit in Medellin
You must be after some kind of record for contradicting yourself so many times. Americans should stay within their own borders. Still plenty of schools to shoot up. Anyway with all those missiles you are sending into Ukraine which are now for sale on the dark web, expect the Great Leap Forward to go ahead by leaps and bounds.

I'll be taking a shower soon. But unlike Pershing, I won't get fools to charge American machine gunners just before an Armistice for it. America: it has the dregs of the world, including its own dregs.
Just point out one time I contradicted myself. That's all. Just once.

People should be allowed to immigrate. It should just be regulated effectively to benefit all parties involved. It should also be done legally and the citizens of the country should be allowed to limit the number of migrants as they see fit. Pretty simple. Oh yea, and don't allow fentanyl peddling drug dealers and human traffickers to freely cross your borders as well. That's probably not the best thing for most communities.

Dude, do you really want to knock on kids who have been murdered at gun point by mentally ill sociopaths? Is that really who you want to be? I am guessing you're an Alex Jones fan?
Argentina was the 7th richest country in the world in the 1920's. 10th before WWI so they improved with neutrality. They're a great example because it was when they abandoned neutrality, their situation got demonstrably worse.

Appearances can be deceiving. I chased down a purse snatcher in Quito. In Buenos Aires a kid ripped a gold chain off a woman's neck and I chased him too but no one would help. Neither woman was old, sorry. I will admit I missed my chance with the old lady. Also Buenos Aires. Late at night, walking home drunk. Some guy comes flying around the corner with something in his arms and I was like what's wrong with THIS picture? But took too long to process that it was a purse and by then he was past me. He didn't hurt her, though. I got her calmed down and we called the cops, who were useless.

Not neutral when it comes to women getting robbed. No no. But you should read and study more before you pontificate because you don't know shit. Switzerland controls the world's finances. Oh uh huh. The Yew Ess is watching innocent people getting shot and looking the other way.

Oh and I body slammed a shoplifter running out of a liquor store in the US. Don't look the other way on that shit either.
I really don't feel like having these pointless arguments, but I will oblige you one more time sir. Argentina remained neutral for WW1 and WW2. They are now considered to be an economically poor nation today, much like the rest of most of Latin America who also remained Neutral for WW1 and WW2, both wars of which defined much of the world for the rest of the 20th century. The United States did however decide to commit to the war effort in both wars and it had numerous positive benefits for our society, especially in the fields of innovative technology, factory production, and trade relations with foreign nations which greatly strengthened America's economy. There were without a doubt intangible benefits to fighting a noble war and parlaying the spoils of war into a nation of global prestige and influence. These same benefits led to a country which other nations could reliably conduct business and trade with and be confident that their investments would produce positive returns. Of course not every aspect of a war like WW2 is positive, but I do believe the positive benefits outweigh the policy of Neutrality if your nation has the means to effectively participate. Latin America most likely did not have the means to effectively participate in a foreign war due to its own internal struggles and political instability. The world, for a time, used to appreciated the national sacrifice made by countries like the USA and the UK for fighting off truly evil regimes like Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. If Germany and Japan had been victorius, how long do you give them before they would come for the land, wealth, and man-power of Latin America? It's not implausible to speculate. History would tell us not long at all. So again I will state, In my most humble opinion, Neutrality is a Luxury the nations of the world cannot afford just yet, and that is quite unfortunate.

Here is some useful advice if you going to contribute an intellectual opinion publicly. You are clearly using vocabulary which is beyond your comprehension. You selection and placement of the term "pontificate" is utilized poorly. If you are going to choose an advanced term as such, do not start your sentence with the word "But". It displays poor writing skills and makes you seem uneducated. Readers will be likely to dismiss your posts. It remind me of when Mike Tyson would use big words he had heard to intimate his opponents, but he didn't really understand what the words mean't or when it was really appropriate to use them.

So you claim you are a heroic individual who stands up for those being attacked or robbed violently. Hmmm, after reading your post, it just seems like a load of bullshit to me. A real man from the street who has had to actually physically apprehend a criminal on numerous occasions probably has high enough self esteem to not describe in detail every altercation he has ever been in. He would probably just state the fact that he does not condone certain types of criminal behavior which hurts innocent people. You clearly took a hit to your ego when I stated you're the type of guy to let women get mugged and look the other way based off your opinion of Neutrality because you are going overboard defending yourself. You are even describing the moves you are using to take a shoplifter, "bodyslam" LOL. I call bullshit and you come off as a very fake and insecure individual based off your writing. But what do I know, I am just some asshole on a sex-mongering forum, so don't get too bent out of shape over this nonsense. I certainly won't.

These threads solved a problem for the admins as they keep the review threads clear. Though at the same time they have made a home for basement weirdos that don't monger and will never seen Medellin.

Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
The election was close but yeah, Petro declared the winner. Antioquia, where we are in Medellin, the other guy won by a comfortable margin so maybe we will be a little bit more of a conservative political "enclave" here, I dunno. What I know about Colombian politics wouldn't fill a thimble. But this is historical for Petro being Colombia's first leftist president and a former urban guerrilla rebel. Of course, they used to say the guy who was the former president was just a mouth piece for the cartel, but who knows. I think there will be more than ripples from this all the way back to the US of A.
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Actually he doesn't take office until August. For now Colombia still has Duque as its president. And no not like in Venezuela, the situation there is quite different. Petro is more like a Bernie Sanders than a Maduro. Hopefully the exchange rate will go to 4500 now. We will see what happens in the coming months.
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Seriously? You think a leftist like Petro who believes in alleviating poverty and corruption in Colombia is "like" a military propped up dictator who believes in lining his own pockets and the rest of the population of Venezuela be damned. I don't think they are even remotely similar.
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Viva Colombia! Am sure there will be some changes that will be significant to mongering in MDE and Colombia in general. Can't wait for the predictions to circulate. Hehe.
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Yes. As of tomorrow morning there will be 46,719 US sanctions against Colombia, the assets of every US citizen currently in Colombia will be seized and anyone refusing to join the socialists will be imprisoned. On the plus side, all prostitution will be government controlled with the price set at 9500 pesos for 30 minutes. China has already announced they are sending 250,000 troops to support the revolution.

They elected a new President. That's all. It's unlikely there will be any significant change.
Colombia now has a socialist president like Venezuela. Is the US now going to sanction Colombia? What's going to happen to the economy of Colombia?
Bernie Sander is also Socialist. Socialist doesn't equal to anti-America. And after October Brazil election, almost entire Latin America will have lefty government in office. Is US going to sanction them all?
And after October Brazil election, almost entire Latin America will have lefty government in office. Is US going to sanction them all?
The USA tries. It sanctioned Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia. All for electing presidents that the people wanted and the USA didn't. Much of Central America has also recently shifted left. And El Salvador didn't go left but also elected an anti-establishment people's president. There is a growing solidarity in the region, which can only benefit all. If enough of them can elect presidents with integrity, I think there will be major changes, not just in their relationships with the USA, but opportunites for the people. Also sounds like Colombia will normalise relations with Venezuela, wihch may make Venezuela a more attractive destination for single men, but reduce the nuimber of Venezuelanas on the streets of Colombia.

The worst is that he is a climate change nut and wants to shut down oil drilling in Colombia. Why anybody would run on that now is beyond me.
The US didn't sanction Mxico after electing AMLO.
Right. Like all bullies, it has to choose its victims well. Mexico is too close to home and part of NAFTA. And he is another left wing leader. Is pushing back against the USA and showing solidarity with Latinoland. I felwl we are really on the cusp of smthg.

"There can be no Americas Summit if all the countries of the American continent do not participate," Mr. López Obrador said. "Or there can be, but we believe that means continuing with the politics of old, of interventionism, of a lack of respect for the nations and their people. " (President López Obrador of Mexico said he made the decision because Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela were not invited.).

Push this on to Talking Shlt, but I think it is relevant to mongering in the medium term in Colombia and MDE.
