West let me add there is a huge expat community in CR. You can own land there. Get in the national health plan. There are two great hospitals in San Jose. Biblica and Cima. Cima is hooked up with a Texas school. It has been a retirement community for 30 years. One of the first places with the Visa. They have about 25% of the population as ileagal nico's who work the farms

But it is a great place. Some gringos actually move down there for good.

The difference is it is not a dirt poor country with 1/2 a million poor girls turning 18 every year want to see the world. There is only about 3.5 million in the whold country. And they do have a decent standard of living. In the mountians you do not need either heat or air. So utilitys are nothing. The showers have instant hot heads. And 10 lights in the whold house. Water and sewer cost more the electricity for the locals. Row house is about 15 to 20K. But there are suburbs full of expats and thier wives who buy 200 to 400k americian houses. Since so many people go there as tourist. Thier number 1 bussiness. Intell is there also and Slyvania. You can get nice rooms for 40 dollars a night. Cheap rooms that are safe for 12.00 not me and nice hotels for 120.00 a night. The nice places charge a chica fee. range 10 to 50.00 at the holiday inn.

So you can go and stay at a nice comfortable expat hotel 40.00 a night plus tax, Go to the 50.00 massage each day and wonder and site see. And hit the casino's Del Rey is the Jewel. Do take out for 3 hours, one hole non covered BJ. And have a good time. Or you can fly into like the Hotel M that caterers to guys like us. 180.00 a night no chica fee. Books of pictures at the bar of excorts who are bomb's for 300.00 a night. And live like doctors and lawyers do.

Me being a constrution worker I do the 40.00 hotel with the rice and beans with a bioled egg as the breakfest.

If you get affronted (no pun) by the fact that your pinay is walking in front of you, just keep in mind that the Philippines is a classical matriarchal society.

Stick to the gogo bars on Mango Avenue. They will let you bring in a girl into the bars. However, one of them actually charged us a fee for bringing her in. I think it was Hot Rods. We brought her into 3 bars, Hot Rods, Sister and Club Temptations. If you want an upscale one, check out Club Arena. This is located near the Pier not to far from SM Mall. It's very nice but, there is a 200 pesos entrance fee as well as a 200 pesos fee to exit. They will add it onto your tab later when you buy your drinks. The BF is very expensive though at 6,000 pesos. It's a huge bar. It has 2 levels and there is rooms on both floors that you can sing karaoke and bring the girls in the rooms. I would say that Club Arena is the nicest most upscale bar in Cebu.

I took my GF to both Viking and Red Lips two nights ago and no drama. We played pool at Vikings. Red Lips is my pick for upmarket but reasonalbly priced drinks and good floorshow.

I'll suggest Viking a very large bar. They have some of the sexiest dancers who can actually dance.

The new Red Mango might be another choice since it is kind of small and intimate. Last time I was there the "Erik" group was putting some of their best talent there and the ladies drinks were only 100 pesos. I wouldn't be surprised if that discount is no longer in effect.

These would be my two choices in the Mango area because I assume your gal will be more interested in the show rather than the price of barfines.

I have taken girls into both Volvo and Thunderdome, down the street from Midtown Hotel/Robinson's (F. Ramos?). Mamasans were happy to see the girls. Also, Love City on Mango Ave., which has some of the best, if not the best looking dancers in Cebu City. The most upmarket bar that I have been to in Cebu is Juliana's, in Banilad.

It is off the main road, and the taxi driver will bneed tpo know where to go.

I was there several times just over a year ago. The women dance singly, often naked, and they are stunners.

In fact, basically all the girls there are stunners.

It is more expensive than the normal run of the mill bars, but the quality is excellent.

By the way, as you go there off the main road, you will pass the well known casa. it is behind a big green? gate. has a range of women. But it is a bit stark. There is no place where you sit casually, have a beer, take your time and view the proceedings. You sit in a room with seats around the walls. All of the available girls are herded in, and stand or sit while you make your choice. pay the fee, then back into your taxi and on your way.

And many couches you and your girl can sit at peacefully and watch the action. But as far as your comment as safe. I personally haven't been to a girly bar in Cebu where i didn't feel safe. I have taken a regular girl into these bars: Silver Dollar, Stripes, Blue Angel, Pussycats, Papilion, Vikings, and yes even into Hot Rods recently and never been asked for an entry fee or had any issues or problems. I did see the sign on Hot Rods that requires 100P entry fee to any outside female, but when I went inside at 1am not too many customers and the sleepy guard never bothered me.

My advice to you is to stick to the Mango avenue bars. If you get asked for an entry fee for her tell them to forget it and leave, then go to the next which is right next door. Find one that you and her both like and sit, order some drinks and relax and watch the show. IMHO, stay away from very expensive KTV's and the higher end upscale places like Areana and Jaguar. Most will charge an entry fee and some an exit fee, and you will have to buy drinks regularly to sit and watch the girls on the stage. Why bring her to a place where you are playing 500P just to sit down when you are not even sure if the girl you bring will want to stay?

Talk to the girl in advance, make she she is ok. Explain to her the situation so she is prepared a little before going there. Tell her there will be a stage with gilrs on it, do you want to sit close or far, do you want to see the girls or you just want to see what goes on in those places? Ask her questions and get her feedback. This will help you to understand what she wants. This way once you enter the club you will be prepared.

Also when you talk to her before you go to the gogo bar, you can get an idea if she really is bi-curious or she is just curious to see what goes on inside the club. I have taken many girls to the gogo bars and only one was bi-sexual, and she refused to barfine any girls to bring back to the room. All are very very curious as to the exact activities inside those clubs. Alot have sex fantasies about working there and being the sexual object of desire for foreign guys. You must also define your role with the girl you bring. Is she your girlfriend or just some girl you met? If she sees you as hers, then better not get too excited over the dancers. Almost all the girls I brought to the gogo bars asked me which girl on stage I liked. Do not answer unless you want a jealous tampo girl on your hands. Always say they are ok but I like you better. Downplay any questions of comments she will make about the girls. Also know that things will be very different when you enter the bar with another woman. The dancers will stay far away from you and will never come approach you unless they want to take your drink or food order or you call one over. The mamasan might come over to see how you are and to chat up the girl to see if she works at another bar or is looking for work. Also there are alot of Korean groups that visit the gogo bars on Mango and sometimes they will have Korean girls in the group. So chances are she will not be the only non-dancer female in the bar.

Your girl will also be very very nervous before you entre the club. She will almost always shake a little. For young catholic girls who are brought up on a strict religious mentality, entering a gogo bar can be a very big issue to her. She will be both excited and fearful. She will also be very very afraid to be seen going in or out of that place by someone she knows for fear of being labeled a prositute. Sit close to her and after 10 minutes she will calm down enough so she can enjoy the experience. I would stay no longer than one hour in the bar on her first visit, and do not get her drunk, just one or two drinks will be more than enough. She will express her thoughts to you after you leave the bar and she will be happy you brought her there. If she liked it you can take her back another night to visit more bars and when she knows what to expect you can try the more expensive KTV's.

Yep, Jaguar is a great place to be. I have visited Manila Burgos Bars, Asia Entertainment complex, malate bars, la cafe, havana cafe, EDSA etc and all bars in Cebu. I'm yet to find the same quality of women from jaguar anywhere. As i have reported before. There is a way you can avoid bar fine easily.

Go late around 12 to 12.30 AM...when things get busy..order a beer or two, sit for an hour, call the girl you like...pass on your number or ask her number...Jaguar closes at 2 to 2.30 AM...pick her up from outside..for a cost of 500 pesos you can get a hot stunning model...pay her in the morning on agreed price.

If you like beer drinking, and who don't, then I suggest going to Mango Ave and hitting each place there, 1 beer each place, then move on to the next. I have taken my gf on this tour before and it works out very well. There was one or two places that will make you buy a drink for your girl even if she doesn't want it, so there was a few places I had to drink two. The best place that we found just to watch the dancing was the place on Mango that you have to go upstairs, I can't remember the name, I think it was directly across the street from vikings. The dancing was good there, sometimes the girls were dancing in pairs and appeared to be loosely, choreographed. You can skip the black hole if it is still open, that place was crap.
