Pattaya Hotels

Rooms on 7 and 8 not even that much anyway.

For me I'd get the extra night at your hotel to catch up on sleep vs. staying awake for another 6 hours before you can check in to your hotel. Rest up from 8 am and be ready to start bar hopping by 5 pm sounds better than not getting to bed until 3 pm and being exhausted the first night in Pattaya.

Then go get a good buffet breakfast somewhere (not necessarily at your hotel). Then go for a long walk along beach road. At noon get 3 hours sleep before hitting soi 6.

Other times I had to wait until 11 or 12 am and there was no additional charge, but YMMV. If you want to be safe, just email the hotel after the booking or book an extra day.

They might allow it gratis if there are rooms available, or charge you 50% of the daily tariff.

I usually have no problem getting an early check in. Lots of people are in the same situation so the hotel has dealt with it before. It helps if you have booked a longer stay vs. One night. It also helps if you book a common room type vs. Booking the Presidential Suite (where there is only one such room) which might already be occupied, and you would have to wait anyway for the occupants to depart.

I really don't blame them, I think it keeps their image in place, all guests should have their own level of comfort.

I would always stay above the 13th floor to get a good sea view. Make sure your sea view is facing SW towards the Pattaya sign. That sea view is a million times nicer than the partial sea view blocked by the Hilton.

Is Dusit Thani In Pattaya girlfriendly with no fees?

I believe there is a separate entrance from the beach also.

Yes there is an entrance off Beach Road by the Thai Airways office. You cut through the pool. Not sure how late that entrance is open.

The room is great, big, nicely furnished, and the balcony is big too. But as you said, the Hilton hotel to the right blocks half of the sea view, a little disappointed in the morning.

One thing I don't like about Pattaya is lack of availability of hotel rooms near beach road which have sofas and nice tables so one can try different poses. Beds become so boring after 4-5 bangs LOL.

I prefer hotel around $40-$60 range and have stayed in few hotels like flippers lodge, sunshine, eastiny. They are all very convenient to pick up girls from beach road, shag and go out for next round. I am not a bar or go go fan.

View talay seems like a good alternative I plan to try this time.

Are there any other hotels nearby that offer such simple pleasures of life such as trying couple of positions on sofa?

Or should I just F it and take a chance by staying a bit away from 2nd road where I guess hotels must be more spacious?
