I've heard of bold nanny waitresses lecturing and refusing to bring a glass of wine to a pregnant woman.

No matter how young your GF looked, she surely didn't resemble a little child who might enjoy a set of crayons. Did it occur to you that the waitress was trying to insult you for 'robbing the cradle'?

I've seen a Thai woman who was clearly (to me) in her thirties asked for ID in a supermarket in the UK, and I've also been out socialising with friends who included a Thai woman who is 29 and her 9yo daughter and witnessed a stranger referring to the Thai woman's daughter as her younger sister :D.

She bought some clothes, but had to go in the children section in the shops and department stores. Her French size then was 10 year old for skirts and pants, 13 year old for tops and shirts!

Obviously quality is drastically, shockingly down compared to say 6-10 years ago, even with the slight uptick recently due to the economic downturn. Quite simply, the prettier girls are not available to farangs in a better economic environment, because if at all possible they prefer to either 1) remain respectable, or 2) only service Thai men and avoid the despised farang.

This is basically the same pattern that has repeated itself in Asian country after Asian country - many decades ago Japan, in the last couple of decades South Korea, and now the last domino to fall, Thailand. The world darkens, our options draw in, and we are lost gentlemen.

But as to how to deal with it for now, Knobrm, just get used to being serviced by older, unattractive women. That's what I've done.

I have never been asked for Id even when I was younger. Went to disco in Australia with 40 Kg Thai girl and she was asked to show her Id at the age of 37.

Canadians aren't the brightest tools in the Box. When I was there for a week, I used to buy my cigarettes from the same Vendor every morning and Every morning the lady asked me for my ID.
