Get togethers amongst members of this board never seemed to actually materialize. I had guys PM me in the past and suggest having beers, or venturing to some new places, but they never follow through. End of the day, I actually like the freedom of exploring on my own. I tend not to venture out incapacitated or into unknown areas.
I have struck up conversations with a few groups of guys at a bar and a club and we partied together. But they were newbies and I actually was able to show them some new places during the course of the evening. But inevitably, one member of the group ends up being an asshole and I have no desire to be associated with that.

On Teodoro Sampaio you have to go against the trafic (a contramão) i.e. in the direction of the rio Pinheiros (and Butantã).
