About Pattaya, I also agree. On WS as far as go-gos, Pinup, XS, Palace, Shark, 89, Iron, is good enough for me. No more investigating other go-gos due to the massive decline in overall talent. I don't even really go to LK Metro or Soi 6 anymore. Beach road is different, with some hard work and persistence, you can find a very cheap gem there. Discos? Yikes. I couldn't find anything worth taking at 808, Ibar, Insomnia, etc on my last trip.

I’ll add that Patong was a waste of time, for me. Thats more of a family place. Pattaya has everything I need as its more catered to adult entertainment.

Is fair to say that generally your tip for strategy and safety applies all over Pattaya? And should we expect that aspects like ST vs LT decisions will be similar but prices will generally be higher or lower based on the area like WS, Soi Pothole, Darkside, etc. ?

When it comes to pricing for ST and LT in Pattaya, you can use what I mentioned about Soi 6 pricing as a general guideline for the other areas, walking street being a little on the higher side though. The old timers on the board, alongside the Cheap Charlie's, will usually be on the lower end of the pricing spectrum. Then, there are guys like me who really don't care about the cost as long as I'm having a good time and getting the experience I'm after. Don't forget about the Punjabi Prince who gets everything for free LOL.

Of course, you can always fall somewhere in between. Depending on the girl, the location, and the type of experience you're seeking, you might pay a little more or less. There's no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to pricing in Pattaya.

Experiences will also almost be the same over over Pattaya. The girls will treat you nice and give you what you want as long as you are respectful and polite. Nowadays the girls in bars are more geared towards short time encounters where freelancers are often more open to long time. That is just the majority and it all depends on their individual circumstances such as boyfriends, sponsors, money being needed urgently and whether or they like you or not.

That being said, guys who overthink every detail of their Pattaya holiday often end up ruining the whole experience by stressing over costs. Don't fall into that trap just relax and enjoy yourself. Common sense goes a long way here. If you're upfront about what you want and keep things simple, you'll find that the experience is usually much smoother and more enjoyable. However, make sure you don't over spend according to your budget. I find shorter holidays with a higher budget will be much more enjoyable.

First time visitors to Thailand should also read PPPPP's report from September. I'm sure some spend a little less and some spend a lot more, but PPPPP gives a good summary of what you might spend for various living and mongering expenses in Thailand.

On my first day I was so hyper-cautious to not get overcharged I ended up NOT getting a drink at any of the bars at Soi 6, NOT going into any of the clubs on Walking Street, and NOT taking home a freelancer on Beach Road. That night I realized, I just scammed myself! I didn't come this far NOT to enjoy myself. So my second night I got a drink on Soi 6 and played dice games with one of the girls. Then went to Skyfall strip club on Walking Street and had 3 girls with me at my table being flirtatious, rubbing my cock, etc for the cost of 1 lady drink each (200 baht per) and then took the cutest of the 3 out for short time which came out to 5,500 baht for her fee + bar fine and then another 500 baht for a hotel room across the street (so 6,000 baht total or about $180 usd).

Some nights in Pattaya you will spend more and other nights you will spend less. It all evens out in the end. Look at my Soi 6 post below and give it another shot. Then try a Pattaya gents club. Then do a beer bar at Myth or Soi Made. Then do a massage. Then check out a freelancer from Thai Friendly. Then go to insomnia or 808 and take a freelancer. Then grab a girl off beach road. You get my point right? If I was a guy on holiday that's what I would do. Try everything. All will be priced differently. Then the next time you are back you can decide which of those Pattaya options you liked best and stick to those on your 2nd trip.

Based on the "Guide" below, I took an early pass through Soi 6, around 3 pm. So early, in fact, that most of the bars weren't open yet A girl tried pulling me into a bar called Omega, and whereas I would typically brush it off and politely decline, this time I said YES. She was alright but not really my type, so I bought her a lady drink (200 baht) and made polite conversation while eyeing the room to pick a favorite. One clearly stood out to me, so I asked to buy her a drink after (160 baht). We had a good rapport, so I asked her about ST and LT. She told me that she had another appointment with a regular and that I should come back later. Which was disappointing. We exchanged info on Instagram and Discord.

Walking around killing time I thought I'd try one of the small massage parlors all over town. A day or two ago I went for a proper 2-hour Thai Massage at Let's Relax, a chain of luxury spas in town, I knew this would be a very different experience. Lets not forget that the beauty part of Pattaya is that there is something out there for EVERY budget.

I've had girls coming from a short time offer me boom boom for 500 baht. Quick turnaround for them and a bargain for the punter as long as you don't mind sloppy seconds.

Most beach road girls these days can be had from 700-1200 baht.

TF girls usually start at 1000 and go up from there.

Then you have your massage parlor extras. Some you can even "bar fine" from the shop and take back to your room.

Then there is beer bars, night clubs, go go clubs, and gents clubs.

If you went buck wild in skyfall on night 1, night 2 you can get yourself a BR cutie or a TF freelancer on the cheapy cheap.

My last few trips to Pattaya have been months long excursions so I had to find a way to make my budget last me longer. It's not easy or even really feasible to drink and party every night for 4 months nor would I even want to.
