Some folks take pride and call themselves an expert while merely regurgitating all the stuff that's been written here for more than 15 years. Some of us were standing out side at closing time at all sorts of bars starting 40 years ago. Common sense is not rocket science, unless you are trying to pump up your own reputation as a whatever.
I and the others would appreciate it if you would name who you think are the experts on Pattaya that are posting here. A list provided by you so we can examine their posts directly would be extremely helpful.
Thank you in advance!
How Mongers Should Behave in Pattaya (If You Actually Want to Enjoy Yourself
What is the moral of the story? Do not fuck the girl four times in one night if you ever want to fuck her again. She will hate you for it.
This is wrong advice for punters in Pattaya. Let the girl eat, stop if she is in pain, uncomfortable and clearly not happy, don't argue with bar staff and and if you were a complete imbecile, don't go back to the scene of the crime and try again. That’s just asking for a problem.
Here are some things to consider.
It's amazing this still needs to be said in 2025, but here we are. If you're coming to Pattaya to monger, a little basic street smarts and respect will get you way further than acting like an absolute idiot.
First, respect the girls. If a girl seems uncomfortable or the vibe isn't there, cut your losses. A small partial payment and a polite exit is way better than forcing a miserable session. Move on, find a girl you click with, they're everywhere if you're not acting like an idiot caveman from the dark ages.
Don't treat the girls like pieces of meat. They're people working a job. Telling a girl she can't eat after you barfine her? Over 150 Baht? Seriously? If that 150 Baht hurts your wallet, you might be in the wrong hobby, champ.
Build a connection. Being "jai dee" (kind-hearted) doesn't mean simping out and buying her a condo. It means treating her with basic decency. A little charm goes a long way here, you'll be amazed at how much better the service gets when the girl actually wants to be with you.
For fully transactional encounters such as a quick ST, be clear upfront. Lay it out without being rude. No surprises, no drama.
Final point: have some damn common sense. Don't believe every fantasy post you read about 19-year-old supermodels offering 500 Baht specials and falling in love. Pattaya has something for everyone, whether you're budget hunting or living large. Be smart, be respectful, and you'll walk away with way better stories than the clowns who end up arguing with bar staff at 2 am.
Pattaya's still a playground if you know how to play.
Cave man from the dark ages?
I fully agree with your sentiments ET. Just to set the record straight though, the cave man era ended around 10,000 BC, some 10,500 years before the Dark Ages, which roughly spanned the 5th to the 10th centuries. Ha ha. Sorry.
