A Brazilian woman who has the same stretch marks on her ass and hips explained it to me. It happens during puberty when a girl's hips widen. I've been to Rio 3 times, with many great experiences. I was contemplating a fourth trip this April but due to the increase in the value of the real in comparison to the dollar and the price of flights, I can't get any friends to go and have agreed to try DR in April with my friends. It is only open 24 hours: Fri and Sat. Sunday (until 11pm but entry only until 8pm). Maybe thursday. Fri or Sat nights are when you want to go.

When you enter there are hundreds of stalls selling things and playing music very loud. There are a lot of restaraunts near the two live band stages, wander there and eat and watch the show.

I have never heard other than Forro on the two main stages. Sometimes a show with dancers. There are smaller bars around but most forro too.
If you have time, go there, have a good cheap meal. If you do not speak portuguese, you will have a tough time understanding anything.

Because some time has passed since those pictures were posted, I am sure some of the pictures have changed. I therefore think it would be beneficial to see some new pictures from the book.

My experience with Karla Models is that the women are not as attractive as they look in the book and not as attractive as hand selctions from Help. However, many are as attractive as the 6-7s now in most of the termases.

Yasmin is a real sweetheart. Just a genuinely nice person. Her performance and those of others I have seen are at the top end of the scale.

I have used them before and it is a hit and miss situation. More hit than miss when it comes to service from my experiences. I will be in town in a couple of weeks, and I will be giving them a call. I will report then. I will also try to take pics. of the garotas in the book.

One man's beauty is another man's dog. I have only been on one mongering trip in my entire life and that has been to Rio. There are literally tons of pictures here on this site and other sites out there as well. If you like the way women from Brazil look, then there is no question you should get your heiney there as soon as you can. I have been reading about Rio for many years now. Watched a lot of Buttman movies as well. Seen a lot of pictures of women from Rio. I liked what I saw. I really had no desire to go anywhere else. I am not into Asian women so Thailand is not for me. Germany seems to have places similar to Rio and that is a place I would like to visit someday. I have read alot about Costa Rica and the DR as well as other countries. For some reason I was always drawn back to Rio. Finally after many years of reading about Rio, thinking about Rio, watching movies about women from Rio, and jerking off to thoughts of Rio, I finally did something about and went there. I only have one regret. I should have been down here much sooner.

I think it was suggested that you go to other countries first before going to Rio. Life is too short. Maybe by going to other countries first you will sort of build yourself up and then when you get to Rio you will not be as overwhelmed. Screw that, being overwhelmed is part of the experience. Maybe by going to other countries first you will be more level headed in your thinking when you get to Rio. Screw that, every guy I know thinks with his lower head when it comes to hot available women. I say get your butt to Rio as soon as you can. I do not think you will regret it.

If you can conquer the beast, then the other little mini-beast (DR, CR) with seem like a walk in the park.

With that kind of experience (from what I read about Rio compared to other countries) you will be well on your way to becoming a master monger.

Hey, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. But no use in putting the cart before the horse. I'll at least make the trip down their first, LOL.

I know this is the wrong place to post this. I have been all over the world, let's say over 30 countries in 4 continents. So as far as traveling I was seasoned. However, my first true mongering trip was to Brazil and I've never regreted it. If you go, here is what got me through when I went. It was really effortless:
1. As many mongers will tell you, read the forum. A lot of your questions will be answered, no question about it. A good rule of thumb, is to read at least 6 to 8 of the most recent months before you leave.
2. Print Sperto's map and rating scales. I wish we had that information when I first made it. It is like the yellow pages. It is a great addition to the board.
3. Print, read and carry Bubba's guide. It is a walk in the part carrying that much knowledge about the settings of the places to visit.
4. Make a list of the termas you want to visit and cross them off as you visit each place. They provide you the most bang for the buck and you will definetily repeat those that are your cup of tea. You will see, trust me.
5. Stay in a hotel. Yes, apartments provide the best value, but if it is your first trip, there is nothing like a hotel. their staff (Doorman, etc.) can provide valuable information.
6. Get familiar with the Metro system. It is easy and will save you a bundle from the overcharging taxi drivers. (Most of them love to take advantage of tourists)
You will make a lot of mistakes when you get there. But, if you stick to a routine of visiting the major termas (Lluomos, Monte Carlo, Solarium, 4 X 4, and so on), you will have a lot to talk about. Avoid Centaurus at all cost, that is a craphole that will discourage you from returning to Rio. Have fun and I look forward to your reports.

Not all girls will let you take pics. I don't use 4x4 as often as many here but have found more than half the girls let me take pics, same as in the cheap joints. Firstly, I wouldn't walk around RJ much with anything bulky that can't be hidden. But in the posh termas I carry a small zip bag that contains mints, my preferred brand of condoms, a tiny notebook and tiny pen, and a very small camera such as the cybershot. I always wait till almost the end of the session till (hopefully) I have convinced them I'm Mr NiceGuy, and then I get the camera out furtively, as if taking out a spliff as you ask if there are cops around, and ask very politely if I may have a picture. Either that or ask before I get the camera out. Now if you make it clear by your body language and so on that you are not the sort of guy that takes undercover photos (assuming you're not) then it is unlikely that they will think they want to shop you. Once she says yes, I judge how 'much' - some don't want face shots etc but some are happy to show you and your digital pal their assets. I think the main time you will get aggro is if you 'act like an American'* - loud voice, assertive, dominating etc. Do the 'new man' bit. Or use slightly gay mannerisms (same thing lol). I always promise (and deliver) the girl a copy of the photo if I'm likely to see her again, even if I don't do her a second time.

This is just my way. Others might be more brash. You just find out what works for you. And my apologies if I've stated the obvious. I assume you are maybe a bit new to RJ - when even simple things can sometimes seem quite momentous.

No offence intended. As you can see, I put the phrase in inverted commas to indicate the stereotype caricatured by non-Americans worldwide and added clarification on what was meant. Most of the wonderful Americans I have met thru the Board have been softly spoken and respectful to locals. Although the loud-spoken and dominant American did used to annoy me (as it annoys most Brasilians and Thais for instance), I know see it as a cultural etiquette thing rather than being right or wrong.

Americans have forged ahead in many areas, and I'm sure not being timid has often helped! Indeed, whenever I've visited America I've found that being bold and speaking in a bold voice is seen as polite and friendly. The North European (or maybe South American) habit of being quiet and slightly self-effacing is not so well-received in the U.S. Of course it is only a generalisation, but one that is commonly accepted in business, along with differences in personal body space, deference, and various forms of etiquette. Generally speaking, you will get further with Brasilians if you are quietly spoken an so on. This is general advice to anyone, but maybe less obvious perhaps to Americans unless they are widely travelled. Again. no offence intended. What I want to know is who is shooting the pics? Not the easiest thing to capture an action photo of your own butt! Is it like when you are out on the beach with a friend and ask someone to take a photo of you? Do you call down to the doorman or reception and ask if they would mind taking a few photos of you and your favorite?

I don't have a problem wih the actionphotos - I actually like them, but I must say that posting that include dressed pictures, adds to the value.

The Motel is very nicely appointed, rooms with laaarge shower, laaarge bed - maybe 3 meters in diameter, love-chair, own garage for your car.

You rent the rooms for minimum 4 hours (nobody ever needed them for 4 hours anyway).

The cheapest rooms starts out at 40 Reais - but I have never rented them.

I had the Master Room which was 80 Reais - they advertise it for 59 but in the end you end up paying little over 80.

I think we've all been there in one way or another. I've never taken a girl from Help, but from the beach, MP, TA, and off the streets. I've only had 1 girl try to go crazy on me. I was at Brazil Day in NYC yesterday. Had a nice time. The garotas were definitely in a partying mood. This is a stupid analogy. Presumably the picture-taking in MP would be done without the knowledge and/or consent of the subjects of the photos. In contrast, the girls willingly give their consent to being photographed. Of course it is unethical to post a girl's photo without her consent, but if a girl is really concerned about her photo being publicized, she should hide or cover her face. Many girls I have photographed have done exactly that.

BTW, I really don't recommend photographing mongers in MP. You might end up with the proverbial "knuckle sandwich," or worse.

Everyone has to arrive at their own decision on what to post or not post. Even if you don't agree, that's the way it is, and Jackson doesn't interfere with whether people want to post pictures with faces or not. He minds his own business, which is running the forum for its stated purpose.

I don't show garotas faces if I post pics, but that is my decision.* If someone were to go on the rampage and post pics of mongers they would be doing the very thing they are decrying. I think it's good to air the matter occasionally and state your opinion, but if you don't convince 100% of the people that's the end of the story: you (or I) didn't convince.

Playing devil's advocate, although I like to respect garotas' privacy, they engage in a certain risk just by associating with gringos - enough to get them labelled in many cases - even before they get their clothes off or do what they do to get cash. Davis correct, Lebara is really difficult when you want to take pictures of her. At first I couldnt understand why because she did a number of pornos, so I knew she wasnt shy. But then she told me she has her own website and she felt if she let guys continue to take pics of her for free, then nobody will join her site and pay to see her pics.

Yeah, she was pretty exceptional, one of the best I've had.
