Yes, this is so aggravating. Please read the whole thread at "filipina" for more info, but the thread continues and gives several explanations for this. I'll paraphrase some of the answers as well as add my own ideas...

***X Man has met several "normal" ladies face to face who fit this bill. They don't speak till spoken too. Very stressful, especially if there isn't body language involved. Face to face, I advice touch testing. She either runs or stays! These types sometime pay off big time if you have the patience and time. Also pay off if you are looking for something permanent. They DO need tender loving care and you can expect dead fish sex. Of course one I had would never get out of bed if I didn't suggest it first. :-)

I did sign up for a pay account with Cherry Blossom. I havn't encountered the multi chatters people have mentioned. If I go into their chat room or just turn on the 'insta chat' thing they have, it isn't long before I'm spammed with messages. Everything from dogs to 10's, and they're usually pretty forward. Sure, its an interview at first, especially if their english is limited. I find that they all speak very good english until you get past the interview questions (practice makes perfect after all).
I've also found that if you talk to a girl more than once, she will start to really fall in love with you. I mean really. Even if you just talk about normal BS. At first I thought it was just scammers, but I've been on there a while now and have never had the idea of sending money even come up. The better educated girls that speak good english are actually nice to talk to, also. I have been through a plethora of girls that can hardly talk to you but want to get married anyway. I've never known a girl to give simple one word answers, ever. Almost always if I stop responding, they start initiating somehow. It may be that I am much younger (no offense) so I am not as appealing to scammers or girls who are trying to mass recruit a man. I could be wrong though, I don't know how many scammers there actually are, it may just be a stigma. Though I have heard guys on CB complain about them.
You know, if the girls were American, I would be all for not having any idea what they're saying. Ironic, no?
The most annoying aspect I've run into is that sometimes you will meet a girl you really like, and she will disappear due to no internet access. I think some of these girls can only get online once a month. Also, like I said, they will fall in love quickly, so if you talk to a girl, and then never hear from her for weeks, then she pops back and you hardly remember who she is.
Well, thats life I guess.
I have to say its amazing how many beautiful girls there are in this country that are just dieing to find a white guy. Its like the american anti thesis. I would also say CB is a good site for if you've never been to the philippines and want to have some companionship lined up before you even get there. I havn't tried any other sites though, so I can't compare.

Right now I'm sitting in Cafe 88 on Burgos and a Bakla (gay guy) is sitting next to me chatting with some guys. Poor guys don't know it's a guy and when I look at the picture from the webcam on the screen, it isn't as obvious as it is sitting next to him/her. But, he is chatting with the guys using a microphone so it should be more obvious.
Anyways, just posting this because it is humorous to me but sad for the guys if they think they're chatting with a girl. Also, as a warning to everyone else to make sure it's a girl...
BTW, I was also here yesterday and a guy/girl came and asked me if I was alone. They were obvious to me but I don't know if it is as obvious to everyone else--especially on a cam.

I've also seen a lot of them in front of the 7-11 and across the street at Matrix and standing on the corner. I think I posted once about one who offered me a massage for 500 pesos and chased me down the street. I wasn't interested but I thought it was a girl at the time. I hate that 'how's your searching' question a lot. At first I thought 'what the heck is that supposed to mean?' I found a girl on there I really like though, have plans to spend a week or so at her place in a few months if I can get the time off work. I'm actually looking to get married so I'm not really shoping around for one night deals on there, so my take may be a little different.
As for the age theory...again, its just a theory. I really don't get the one liners though. A lot of them give me phone numbers on the first chat, and I generally don't ask as I don't really have much desire to pay international charges to talk to a girl that probably barely speaks english and whom I've just met. If only my tagalog were better.
Just for reference, the girl I am planing on seeing speaks very good english. I have really great convorsations with her. Its been like that since I started talking to her. I don't know if she has a better education or what, but there are girls like that out there. Certainly few and far between though.

Coming from someone with 4 years of experience chatting with mostly Filipinas on CB and living in the Philippines for 6 months... don't believe anything these girls tell you. It's a cultural thing, even the most honest among them lie. They just can't be totally honest. Also, Filipinos can justify virtually anything in the name of survival. And some of them define "survival" rather broadly. My first first Filipina gf got engaged to an American while we were dating. She was talking to him on the phone when I wasn't around. Another had both an American and Swedish bfs overseas sending her money to support her and her family and the Swedish guy for her to get a visa to come visit him. (She screwed him out of $3000 US). I'm not a sucker...I pay close attention to their cell phones, emails (and they almost all have several) and chatting activities. Also, realize that many have multiple SIM cards for their cell phones. The girls on Cherry Blossom are quite often very shrewd and experienced operators. I agree with their advice, NEVER send money to someone you haven't met. And even when you have met, demand a detailed accounting of what the money is for. If they tell you it's for something medical, get the name and number of the doctor. Call the doc. Check them out. You'll be shocked -- most are lying to you. Some are really good at it.
Disappearing due to no internet access quite often means she has to spend time with her Filipino bf/husband or she has a foreign bf in town. When you live here and you get to know the girls, they will tell you, they scam MANY guys at the same time. They are busy with their "customer" or bf for the time being and can't get away from them to chat/talk, etc.
They do fall "in love" very quickly. And they fall out of it soon after you're out-of-sight. Again, it's all about survival and who is my next meal ticket. Don't fool yourself. Marriage there is not about love...it's much more practical and pragmatic.
Also, you mention that you are young. I'm an under-30 successful entrepreneur. They do it to me too. Don't think being young will make your experience much different.
Line up all the girls you like through CB. Lord knows I've done it. But, just don't buy the BS that is GUARANTEED to come. And be prepared to find out that many of the things you assumed before you arrived were completely wrong.

yes I have some expereinces with cam gurls. I meet some, some I befriended with, some are just scammers, some I screw, some I left heartbroken , some broke mine.
Generally speaking its all bout money and support. If you not there, they jump onto another bf/fafa. So if you really fall in love to those gurls you have to act fast and make her yours very quick, otherwise you will spent a lot of money for nothing and get hurt at the end.

Has anybody made any experience with an escort agency called "chozadate"? They have a hidden website (first shows an error message but when clicking a particular area, a password section opens). They are said to offer college girls and mixed types (chinese/filipina). Apparently, regular customers can receive upfront videos showing the girls in action (screwed by the pimp). I'm currently not in Phils so I cannot find out more or try it out myself.
