Jenny was one of the 17 women who were rescued from the bar on Gen. Maxilom Ave, Cebu City last Friday night. Two female bar employees were arrested.
Four of the rescued women are believed to be minors, but only one admitted she is below the legal age of 18, police said.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 is verifying the ages of the 17 alleged trafficking victims.
NGO parasites strike again. You should put "rescued" in quotations.

If it's windy the ferry is often postponed, so good idea to double check. Trip to Consuelo on Pacijan Island takes around two hours. Santiago Bay Garden Resort about 20 minutes south of the teminal is probably the best place to stay. Nice grounds, decent rooms. Air con. Swimming pool and expansive views of Santiago Bay from the elevated open restaurant. Opt for their Cottage accomodation, as the cheaper family rooms are more likely to be crowded and noisy.
Not easy to travel around as I believe there no public transportation available. Hired one of those mini jeepnies for the day to circumnavigate the Island for 1500P. Bakhaw Beach at the north end is worth a swim and Madgonlong Rock Resort is worth visiting for it's views, a swim and a meal. A new resort was being constructed next door, but I don't have any info on that. Night life consists of a few very basic restos on Santiago Beach with Kareoke. Nice for a few quiet days and definitely a BYOB kind of place. Next time I plan to visit Poro Island and a fast cat goes there from Cebu City.

The old Silver Dollar was better IMO. They had a room in the back you could short time. Still it is one of the few bars that opens early afternoon so go for it.

Went couple of times last year with GF. Outdoors is more family oriented with live bands and starts earlier. Indoors is more of a DJ / Elegant option and.
Starts rolling much later, like 11pm. No dance floor but some dancing between tables.
Not a monger venue but some middle class / well-dressed ladies on bar stools. Best to bring your own.

Located near Park mall and is actually three clubs in one: An outdoor live music venue, open air covered lounge and disco.
Live music ends around 1:00 AM. Disco goes well into the morning. This is on the weekends. Observed lots of women getting trashed and certainly available. One night a group of Korean women tried to muscle their way passed me to get a spot to hang out so I pinched one in the butt for her effort!

The owner is the same as Vikings. What is happening? I ths is for certain people and political reasons so they get their names in the press as elections soon as well as the 'rescuing' of ladies. Hoepfully not the Koreans moving in as am told is happening in AC.
Red Lips was a nice bar as is Vikings. Always went there with cebu hotties who wanted to see what a bar was like

So What we are seeing is Project Lantern in operation. I'm from India and I guarantee you, They have DONE NOTHING. Its just a hog wash to receive more funds and donation. Saving people have become a big business now.

The blood sucking vampire's they are. THEY WON"T CLOSE all the bars in Cebu or raid it all at once. Else, they won't have anything Evil to Kill and ask for more AID. Its a BUSINESS. Cebu bars will be opened but expect more raids from them to match on their numbers.

i got the lowdown from my nbi contact they are cracking down on ****, it not just the ngo making trouble.
red lips had 16yo girls working there. even he was saying that the bar owners have to stop getting the younger girls in to work, and that they where warned.

but life is not help but some ngos. some of whom i am sure go to bars purely for 'research' purposes
i would say the ngo helped them get info, i was red lips a few times and do not recall seeing any **** looking girls, or any private rooms. if a ngo went there asking for a younger look maybe the mama sun tried to help.
either way i would never own a bar in this town.
