I am going to Tokyo next week for a short vacation and will go to Bucharest on 18th of October. My Romanian friend already introduced me a girl who works for a US financial firm in Buch. and I will meet her in as soon as I arrive in Romania. So I am bit excited and trying to think this new life more positive way.

This may sound like a stupid question but what is the major University in Bucharest? I have heard of Piata University (I think) but is that the only one? Also based on prior postings from awhile ago I think Club A is a good hangout spot to meet non-pros. Is this info still accurate or is there a better place today? Also there is a place that is called "The Office" which is described as elegant and upscale by some website on RO nightlife that I surfed through. Anyone know anything about this spot???

Can you comment on the attitude of Romanians and Romanian girls toward Asians?

If you are asian yes I am sad to say its true that the girls will look at you in a different maner. (it has to do with growing up. When I grew up before I came to the states I have never seen an Asian person or even a Black person. So anything out of ordinary is strange for Romanians. By nw they should’ve gotten used to this though.) But like I said last winter I saw an Asian guy like 40 with the best looking blond I have ever saw in Romania. I do recommend you have a wingman. Its better cause most girls in Romania travel with friends. But wingmen you can find at work and friends. So I will not be so worried.

Have just got back from Bucharest after a very successful mongering visit. I booked an apartment in Piata Unirii which was a bit spartan but clean and useful.
