That would be Hamilton Hotel, step out of the hotel cross the street and turn left at the first alley/street. Go all the way up pass the first intersection to get on the top of the hill but if you turn right at the intersection there are some clubs on that street too.

The Hill proper is on the first alley to the left, but there are also clubs on either side of the main street as you go up, especially near the top just below the turn-off to the left for the third alleyway (Cabin, Moulin Rouge, Nymph, ING, Peach Phuzz, Apple, etc), as well as a couple of past their sell by date places down the first alley to the right. The second alley on the left is probably off your itinerary unless you like adam's apples, large hands and extra bits of plumbing. Which can also be found at a few places on the "hill", e. G. , Madrid (although the inhabitant there is missing the fire hose).

The answer to the quoted question is YMMV. In fact, outside the 'ville, there are far more places than not that will refuse a foreigner than invite him in and, as reported earlier, even in the places that are "foreigner-friendly" there's a high likelihood of having to put up with the mood-busting "hide from the ego-challenged local male chauvinist" syndrome. Lotsa clock-watchers and 20-minute girls. Hurry hurry hurry are you finished? It's cheaper than the Hill but that's a lotta hassle for 70. Alright, I'll help ya out. But, it's so easy to ask most people around that area since it's such a common place.

Anyways, after you leave Hamilton and your back is to the entrance, turn left (at the Subway entrance). Hard Rock Cafe will pass to your left. Go up to the very first crosswalk. You'll see Helios Bar in front of you and you'll see a gas station diagonally across from you. Turn right and cross the crosswalk.

Go up the street and make a left at the first intersection. As you make the left you'll see a steep hill and neon lights. A mix of some bars at the top, such as Polly's Kettle.
