Possible to open, yes. But thumbnails are much better. One knows what to see after clicking the image.

Log in.
Open "Forum Actions" at top 2nd headerline.
Select "General Settings"
Scroll Down to heading "Thread display options"
Tick "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)"
Select "save changes" tab at bottom of page.
Refresh photogallery page.
It worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

I made the change and also changed the time zone setting. Now all forums are sorted oldest to newest instead of most recent first. This is horribly inconvenient.
I've ben playing with the settings for about half an hour and can't get it to switch back.
Any suggestions?

Got to Forums. Scroll down to Site Administration. Terms and Abbriviations.
In thread display options select Radio Button DESCENDING ORDER.
Threads and reports will be displayed starting last post first.
I am no expert in this.

Thanks[/QUOTE]After you blow away the cookies. I don't think you are still signed in. In any case, everything is fine until I log in. Then I lose the thumbnails and only get the links. And the "thread display options" category is never there. Any suggestions?

I expect he'll fix it eventually, but who knows.
