I have no issue with Nana Plaza in Bangkok. It's usually about 4000 ($120) including everything and I always get a hotel close by so we have lots of time.

If you want nuru, stay a night or two in Bangkok. If you don't care for nuru or are satisfied with the soapies, stay with Pattaya.

If it's your first trip, perhaps staying with Pattaya is your best bet.

I even tried to like the bars in LK Metro and the such. But Soi 6 is just more convenient. I have not been to Walking Street in 3 trips. Except to check out Hot Tuna where the live bands are.
