Going to HK for the first time Saturday 4 dec. Are stying in Wan Chai. Have read a lot and got input form some of you. And are realy looking forward to 3 day here. Are almost 50 years but feel like being a kid again, who are looking forward going to a candy store.

If you're sticking only to the bar scene in Wanchai, you are truly missing out. You can go to bars in your home country! There's good reason why locals don't monger there.
The only reason to stick to the bar scene is if you wish to communicate with the girls in English and if you prefer Filipinas and Thais. You know, everyone is different. I disagree with almost every word you've said.
The bars in Wan Chai feature women from Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Russia, and a few various places from South America and Africa.
The reason the locals don't go to the bars in Wan Chai is 1) they would be charged a cover charge 2) they treat non-Chinese like shit anyway 3) the locals are sometimes cheap and the 141 options are cheap options even if you like that sort of thing.
The question to ask yourself before visiting HK is what do you liike? Once you know that, you can surely find it here or in Macau via a massage parlor, street walker, Wan Chai bars, 141 options, and so on.
I love the bars in Wan Chai but I wouldn't just make some blanket statement about the other options because I know others like those options.
A new visitor should experiment and do research on his own. HK has plenty of mongering options.

Each to his own and remember this forum is for the exchange of information, not for slagging off other's preferences. One man's meat is another man's poison.
If you like the SW's in Temple Street or 141 houses, thats fine. I have tried them - OK but not really my scene except for "reserach" purposes. Anyone who truly knows Hong Kong culture knows those aren't primary reasons why locals aren’t flocking to Lockhart Road. Here are the REAL reasons why locals don't monger in Wan Chai...
First, a vast majority of Hong Kongers live in tiny flats surrounded by a sea of humanity. The idea of taking a bargirl back to his place and risk being seen by family, friends, neighbors and security guards is patently absurd. Sure, he can rent a short-time hotel room. But what's the point of getting a LT session in a ST room?
Second, barhopping is not a staple of Chinese culture for mongering. Don't take my word for it. Look at the China, Macau and Taiwan subforums. You'll have a hard time finding bar reports. Hong Konger hobbyist prefer karaoke, saunas, brothels and massage parlours (as do Japanese and Koreans).
