Passport expires before Brazilian visa
So I was approved for my first Brazilian eVisa today. It was kind of a nuisance to apply for it, but overall not so bad. It was approved in just 4 business days, and it's good for 10 years. Cost was $80.90 paid online via credit card. At least I didn't have to submit any bank statements or my travel itinerary. Just a passport size photo, my passport bio page, answer some background questions, pay online, submit, and wait 4 business days for the approved visa to arrive by email (they say it can normally take up to 10 business days). When I get back from Brazil, I will be renewing my passport online for the first time as well. That will cost quite a bit more, but hopefully it too will be smooth and trouble free.
Hello, Cane! So you are going to get a new passport after you got your Brazilian e-visa. In your opinion, do you need to re-apply for visa? Or we can use old visa with a new passport?
I doubt it, because the e-visa itself contains a passport number.
This is my concern too because my current passport expires 2 years before expiration date of my e-visa.
