Unfortunately I tend to drink more than what I can handle, part of my Mexican genes LOL those of you all that are of Irish or like Eastern European descent know the pain LOL. But in all seriousness I was lucky, my "friend" just got a random taxi and just basically dumped me there when I was unconscious, with no sense of concern, the Taxi driver had he had malice intentions, God knows what would have happened to me, but thank God everything good, I actually still had a large sum of cash still in my wallet, I was carrying an iPhone 6 and I still had it when I woke up, like I said everything good but yeah definitely would not recommend that to anybody out there, especially if you going to hang out in Santa Fe.

I wanted to be sure this was a "mutually beneficial" arrangement rather than a "real" date, because I only had two nights in Bogota and didn't want to do the "not on the first date" dance. Although I clearly would have got much better service if she thought this was real romance. Also, she had been played by a guy a lot like me (same demographic, same hometown) believing he would "take her away from all this", when really it was a "pump and dump". I like the GFE, but I don't like creating false expectations. I am not quite that much of a bastard. Of course that does not mean you have to be honest about everything, just there are limits to being dishonest.

So after a few initial emails, I put a lot of sexual innuendo in my messages, maybe even asking if she will be able to stay over night. Then expectations are very clear. And if the girl is squeamish about this, better to know in advance and move on to someone a little more jaded. In this case we had already worked out the whole "Sexy Nurse" fantasy (plus some other fun things) in advance, including explicit agreement to blow me. So I like that kind of guarantee!

You should always play the "ticket out of this place and into a new life" game with them because they've come to expect it. Just my opinion.

I'm arriving in Bogota in 5 weeks, I plan on staying for 1 week then off to Medellin for 6 days. So my question is should I just stay for 4/5 days in Bogota then get to Medellin? Tough decision.

Adventurous guy fro Canada like to join forces with a fellow member to enjoy what Bogota has to offer.

I will be staying in the Sofitel Victoria as my research indicates this is a chica friendly place. I am reading diligently all reports here but as a Colombia novice, all advice is greatly appreciated!

First I'd like to thank all of you who posted. This is a great resource with amazingly useful information!

I will be in Bogota from October 23 - 28th and would be nice to join forces with a fellow member to explore all that Bogota has to offer.

I am an older, but fit & athletic Canadian and will be staying at the Sofitel Victoria Regia as I understood from previous reports that beside being an excellent hotel, they are chica friendly.

I have no budget restraints, so free and capable to do whatever, but curious to explore all levels of fun.

I hope there is someone who is already there or just arriving the same time frame would be interested joining forces.

I guess I have some experience since I have been at both places, Medellin and Bogota, Medellin countless of times and Bogota I made my first trip a month ago. You should have done it backwards in my opinion, Medellin is more newbie friendly and more english friendly and you could have gotten the rope of things better there. So I am not sure 100% what is your profile, the only thing I know is your Scottish and you mentioned you like to spend for quality service, quality women and quality stay. This is my opinion: If you like high end restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, brothels etc etc Bogota will be better, you will see, all that area in el Norte like Zona T and Parque de la 93 is a lot more high end and luxurious than the Poblado area of Medellin, Poblado you will encounter so many sandalitstas, potheads, old ass ISG members LOL you don't see that in Bogota, plus safety factor El Norte of Bogota is superior in that sense than Poblado in Medellin. If you a hard core mongerer, as in like you are the monger that hunts all kinds of hookers from a-z, whether it be from the streets, to casas, strip clubs, or escorts sites, Bogota is superior all around! Both in an economical sense and also in variety and options. Now for a Semi Pro environment, Medellin is better, I was in Bogota for a small period of time, but Medellin women are more approachable when it comes to all that, comparing normal nightclubs and all where I am looking for normal non p4 p chicks, Bogota did not bring me results like it has in Medellin, I have been able to get laid in Medellin in spite of all the pros and semi-pros there, without having to spend money on sex (only on buying drinks, and a little bit on food) but the clubs in Bogota are a lot more high end, fancier, with nicer installations and a better overall service. Things to do outside of sex in both places will be the same, no place is funner than the other IMO. People wise the same. Depending on your personality, if you a 100% solo rider then this does not apply to you, but if you expecting to socialize with other fellow mongers or people from Europe or the US, then that right there might make your stay at Medellin better, your chances of encountering a fellow European and American is higher in MDE than in Bogota. So with all that said I guess you can make a decision of whether you want to stay those extra days in Bogota or leave earlier to Medellin.

When I ventured to Lima. I always made a stop at the dentist and eye doctors. Wondering if anyone has tried out the opticos in BOG. In Lima got 2 pair good quality glasses and an exam for about 50 bucks. Just wondering about the prices there in BOG.
