And don't forget: those are only lady drinks. Not the men's drinks. If the girl is in the red on drinks, then a fine is due. And it's very easy to fine the girls. In a bar chain on Soi 6, several girls told me independently that hardly any of the girls even get paid their full salary. That's why Koreans who order a whole tree of drinks are so in demand. Its the drinks above 9 that determines their monthly salary.

Hello all, little report on my time in Pattaya. It was low season and I had lots of fun. But let's talk about specific venues.
1. Walking street was the best for me for many reasons. Better lighting and no loud music so I can see the girls better and have a talk with them. Plus I'm not interested in drinking at my age. Going rates were 800-2000 bt. Of course pretty girls asked for more as they should. 10% of them were to my standards and the rest I were needed another way of making money. I did see many indian men in groups wanting a discount. "Can you do 5 guys for 500 bt each" kinda of deal. The action started at around 8 pm and went on until the sunrise hours. But the pretty girls were done by 1 am. Highly recommend this place for a looksie.
2. Walking street. Several mega indian clubs and inside filled with older thai ladies. Clubs were amazing with great music. But they were not my scene as I came to Pattaya for attractive girls, not chubby women who had seen too many moons and drunk with farang for a long time. A nice walk is worth it. I actually stopped at a Turkish ice cream place where the guy plays tricks. It was new to me and kinda cool.
3. Soi 6 was cool. More pretty girls and less indians. But it is a bar scene and the girls need you to come into the bar and pay for drinks.
4. Second road had some freelancers and many massage places. Did not spend too much time there.
5. Soy Balkow (sorry for the spelling guys) This place was packed full of old white men and most from Europe. Place was busy as hell and no indians. Lots of bars. It was weird that they allowed cars in a busy area but welcome to Pattaya.
Even though many white dudes complain about Pattaya being taken over by Indians, it's not so. Only certain areas are full of indians but there are many other places free from them. The malls and night markets were cool to visit. Cannot wait to hit it again in November. Have fun and stay safe.

It explicitly says the girl will get a salary of 12 K if 90 drinks quota is fulfilled, and she would get a commission (of 70 baht or up, depending on the Ladydrink she got) for each drink she got after already getting the 90 drinks in the 10 days period.
The ads also says they won't accept the girls who just come and sit there expecting to get a full salary without moving their asses to sell drinks, which is a good thing because too many girls in that soi are already too picky or not even interested when a customer comes over her.

A few people on here don't want to pay drinks? In my opinion it absolutely doesn't reflect anything near what's happening on the ground. Plenty of people are still willing to spend on drinks given that the girl offers a good service.
I personally often go for 4 or 5 drinks (one after another) with the girls that I like and I never had any regret with it afterwards, because I consider it is some quality time spent with a girl that I like.
And don't remember that most people going there does not even know about this forum.

I can't say how much it is true or not, it's just an ad to attract new recruits.
