At most other bars, it is 400 Baht. At Red Point, they actually clean the rooms after each customer. I don't mind paying an extra 100 Baht for a clean bed.

But, not because they are alcoholics. It's because they must meet a drink quota to earn a salary. Bars have differing drink quotas, and differing compensation for drinks, but the bottom line is the same: girls need customers to buy them drinks.

Adding to that pressure is the rainy weather. Many nights, the rains are so heavy and frequent that Soi 6 is deserted.

The other factor is the occasional Korean whale, who will buy 40 drinks for a lady. This keeps many ladies tied down to the bar, waiting for that one Korean.

As for the ladies being alcoholics, the tequila is watered down. Sangsom and water is really cola and water. Anything clear is flavored water. The ladies do drink real alcohol outside bar. Or sometimes if business is slow, they will pass around a real bottle.

The drinks used to be like 140 and are now 180-210, The rooms used to be 350 and are now 400 - both a very small increase. The only significant increase is the girl that used to charge 1000 and now wants 2000.

Not buying a single drink to chat / touch the girl is extremely cheap. No one would want that in their bar. If I was a girl I wouldn't bother either. The only excuse is if you can decide from the street that you want that girl and she agrees to go up immediately, then I'd say it's reasonable. But testing (cockblocking) the girl downstairs without buying anything?

Soi 6 will become like Walking Street. I don't mean Walking Street with all the Indian nightclubs. I mean Walking Street with all the large agogos run by corporations. Most independently-owned small agogos have disappeared in Walking Street.

So there will be less beer bars on Soi 6. And instead, more regular shops like coffee shops and food stalls will appear.

In order to take a Soi 6 girl back to your hotel, it will cost at least 10,000 Baht in all. And just like in Walking Street, they'll most likely have you pay the total amount upfront, thereby giving the bars and the girls another avenue to screw the customer.

The collapse will begin when the Asians who have been fleeced for the last two years start to boycott Soi 6 altogether.

There was a death cycle as fewer overall customers prompted ladies to leave, less ladies resulted in less Koreans. Shampoo, rinse, repeat.

Many people seem to complain about the high Indian men in Pattaya. Don't want to talk about their issues but I will give my point of view.

I used to go to Costa Rica many years ago and the girls were at about $60-$80. Then the American mongers started to come in like an invasion. Guess what the girls are asking? $100-$300. Another country Colombia. 10 years ago it was 150 pesos and now, after groves of gringos arrive in every single flight, the going rate is "$100 usd baby".

Back to Pattaya, beach road girls still going for 800-1500 bt. The girl prices have not changed much in Pattaya, less americans coming and jacking up the prices. So I'm Ok with Indians coming in and keep the prices down. Since most of us, maybe 100%, come for the girls, we want the lowest possible price for "the one. " Sometimes we pay more or less but in general, prices for girls are stable in Thailand.

I think if more americans came in Thailand, we would be paying 5000-7000 bt. So thank you cheap indian friends for keeping prices down.

Like to hear your comments to Indian men invading Pattaya.

The same thing happened in Brazil and Dominican Republic. I used to give chicks in Sosua $30 for all day and night GFE. I used to have to make them leave. A bunch of Americans started coming and all of a sudden chicks are wanting $100 for short time, runner, scamming service; and then were prone to steal shit from you.

I am a middle-aged white European. For me personally the presence of so many Indian mongers has no negative but a couple of positive sides. First, Indian food in Pattaya is just fantastic. I eat way more Indian food than I eat Thai food. Second, the presence of price conscious mongers is probably having a cooling effect on inflation. Third, Indian and black guys often like the chubby or larger girls. This extends the time a woman can stay in the profession and therefore makes the entire profession more alluring, benefiting all of us mongers. Forth, it's much more fun to talk to an Indian than to some of my not so educated European country men who only speak a limited English.

When you come early, the bars are full of girls. You look back a few hours later, some of the bars are empty. Did all these girls barfined themselves if there is no customers?

Why are there new bars opening every few months if the whole soi is going downhill?
