I've found in my travels to other places that having a fun, trustworthy local guide opens up things that you would never see otherwise, so I'd like to do that in Pattaya. Someone who can take me to the best spots (hottest women, most fun venues, best restaurants) and also show me some things off the beaten path, maybe a new up and coming soi or establishment that I would never have found on my own. There is some new gogo on WS but the sure values for hot girls is XS and pin ups.

I've now almost completed 3 trips to Thailand for almost 1 month each this year. March, July and November (3 days left), and feel like I have enough to bring some inputs here on when to go.
Soi 6 had the best quality in March and July. Now in November, especially late November and early December, more and more of the top girls leave with some interim paying boyfriend.
Gogo bars on the other hand are at a peak now in high season. I suppose high season means more high paying customers at those insane rates the gogo bars charge now.
Freelancers were at a peak in March. Maybe that's just because it is right after high season ended, so the interim boyfriends had just left them.
So when to go is a question of what you like.
High season: Nov. -Feb. Means more people around. Both men and women. Hotel prices also goes up. Rumor has it the winter means less rain and clouds, but this year I had more rain here in November than we had in July.
Mid season of March (going into 1st week of April) would perhaps be my choice. A mix of both.
Low season of July into first 10 days of August was ok, but I felt it was a bit quiet. Many girls I met in March had gone to Phuket instead because in Phuket, summer is more high season. But it also do mean less competition.
Overall I feel like right now it is way too many people here, although this weekend was special for the fireworks.

Best to book your hotel right were you want to hobby for these nights. Same goes for some other nights like during the music festival and possibly Loy Krathong. I enjoy watching fireworks near Soi 6.
