i've been a long time lurker and fortunate to learn tons from senior/other members on isg (thank you all). this is for all the newbies (as i once was). i apologize if this includes any inaccuracies, but i tried to vet all the info based on what i've read, experienced and researched ([url]www.urbandictionary.com[/url] is also really useful).

soi = street (so soi 6 is usually parallel to soi 7)

short time (st) = 1 x pop or 2 hrs, whichever comes first

long time (lt) = 1 x pop + sleep + 1 x pop (eg go with her to your place, shag, sleep, then shag in the morning before her departure)

go-go ("a-go-go" is the local term) = gentlemen's club, escorts are nude or scantily dressed, sometimes there's a show (either stripper style, vegas cabaret-ish or banana/ping-pong/dart type)

beach road girl = freelancers/amateurs who work the strand running along pattaya beach

4) misc

-attractiveness = there are ugly go-go showgirls and there are hot freelancers, so looks vary dramatically

I am planning to take one day break journey in Bangkok and hit Pattaya.

Is it really good idea to go Pattaya or can I get same thing in Bngkok (I mean clubs for drinking and sex)?

If I want to go Pattaya, any recommendations on where to stay and which club to go and how to commute? Is Penthhouse a good option? It looks they have everything at one place.

By the way I been to Tijuana many times, are Pattaya/Bangkok clubs similar?

Great job! I would correct the FL LT price which is 1000 in most of the case. Also attractiveness, you're right but in most of the cases the pretty girls are in Gogos.

Those areas have a good concentration of Go-Gos, plus beer bars. As for the room, he said it was a 100 baht ST room, so I wouldn't expect a super clean quality room for that price. In the end it's all about personal preferences.

Left BKK after the demonstrations turned hairy, and it seems I'm not alone, Pattay is rocking! Talked with a few Americans who are staying at my hotel and said they left BKK early to come down here for the same reason.

I've been hitting walking street and going to Baby Dolls, Baccara, Beach Bar and Angelwitch. Out of all the bars mentioned, Angelwitch, IMHO, has the hottest girls. Many 10's and 9's. I've walked the beach road area and there are a shit-load of girls and katoys, but they aren't that hot or at least not my taste.
