With recent alcohol sales rules change, that is sales from 11 am to midnight, how practically things work now on WS, LK etc, do bars and clubs sell alcohol in extended hours to 4 am?
During the elections of February 8th, what alcohol sales ban is expected, 6 pm the day before to 6 pm on the day of the Elections, or midnight to midnight?

You'd need to be able to go back 20+ years to fully understand what has happened to the quality of the girls but suffice to say it is a mixture of rising wages in non P4P jobs, social media and smart phones, freelancing taking off big time and bars not being able to compete with what the prettiest girls can earn elsewhere, including the gogos.
Every bar needs girls to serve drinks and they won't be on any quotas but they will be on the same commissions. If a girl is hot but wants to work in a bar, sure, she might be able to negotiate a high salary with quotas but that is just the flipside of getting lots of commissions so it rarely happens. Only if on agency will there be quotas as the numbers are stupidly high.
You don't get many 30/40 somethings heading to Pattaya much as they can get work in the factories and stay home. Living in Pattaya with food, accommodation and transport can eat up a lot of money.

As for drink quotas, they are common these days.
The type of venues in Pattaya now are very different from 20 years ago. There are a lot more bars where older women can prosper, compared to the "Good Old Days". I was in Pattaya Back in the Day, where there were a lot more open bars, no real Gentlemens Clubs, and a lot fewer bars than today.

Has a jacuzzi in the room for 2000 be which I thought is a very fair price, has very good reviews as well. It's not as central as VT 6 but I always rent a motorbike so no issues there, it's only 10 minutes away.

But Friday and Saturday night shows may be worth to check them out.
After many many years had a short visit to Pattaya to attend some business matters. Some non-mongering points first.
Transportation: Used Pattaya Tom Taxi (+66982812537 on WhatsApp) for transfer from Central BKK Sukhimvit to Pattaya. THB1300 inclusive of tolls. Agent was very responsive and was able to book the evening prior to morning pickup. Used their cheapest option, but was provided a comfortable mid-sized car for both trips. Drivers were very prompt on pickup and careful with driving.
Accommodation: Booked the Flipper House Hotel on Soi 7. Used Agoda. 2 nights for Standard Double with breakfast was THB2500 including taxes and fees. Staff were okay, I would say they were what I call "farang curt" in their interactions. Room was nice. Comfy large firm bed and good shower, which is all I really needed or wanted. Breakfast was good and they had an egg station to make fresh eggs to order. I selected Flipper mostly for close proximity to the SCB Bank branch on Second Road, where I needed to do some pre-work for the next day's business matter. The staff at SCB were helpful and professional and got the job done for my business matter the next day.
Eats: I visited The Shack close to the SCB on first afternoon. Had thier double smash burger, which was nice but didn't have crispy edges I prefer. I also tried their filet steak the following day's lunch after successful completion of my business. Steak was good, but a bit overdone.
For dinners I had Alibaba Indian on Central Pattaya Road together with business associate. Excellent Indian. Butter Chicken, Daal, Naan bread and Tandoor Prawns were fantastic. Pattaya Mayor was there for some dinner event. For the second night dinner I had Nok's Smash Burger on Sai Song Road. Their double smash burger was to my liking with crispy edges and included a side of fresh crinkle fries. Very yummy, but I was not prepared that it was just a roadside stall with limited outside seating. It was a pleasantly cool evening, so it was not an issue for me.
Mongering: For the mongering stuff, it was not the focus of my trip, but I did walk over to Soi 6 to check out the scene. There were all shapes and sizes and quite a few girls I considered for a punt, but I didn't partake on the first night with the intention to come back on the second night to celebrate completing my business matter. I also walked up and down Beach Road and found nothing to my liking, the girls I encountered were simply too old and too fat. I walked up Soi 7 near Beach Road and I spotted a cutie at a pool bar that stopped me in my tracks. I went in, ordered a drink and started to play pool with the girl. I asked the older girls about barfining the girl and they mumbled something about "cannot, she owner's girl". Yuck, owner's Coyote Girl. Played another game of pool, paid and left. No action on the first night.
For the second night, I had intention to go out to Soi 6. After taking a rest in the afternoon though, I was thinking about what members have reported about the ease of Thai Friendly. I had never used it, so I thought let's see and downloaded. Very easy to set up a profile, add a picture and start. The interface is quite intuitive. Needless to say, it was just seconds before I was getting notification after notification that "XX is interested in you". To cut to the chase, it was not more than an hour before I had girls offering to come to the room for short time fun. I eventually selected a cute, slim and baby-free 21 yo (see pic attached) that was cudding on my bed literally 20 minutes after we sealed the deal. Kissing, BBBJ and condomless girlfriend sex (as pre-negotiated) were provided with girlfriend-like care. Ending was a deep CIP, which was the cherry on top to completing my business matter. THB2000 happily paid. Thanks to the members who have reported about Thai Friendly.
In the evening, I was going to go across the street for massage, but noticed there is an in-house place in the hotel. I popped in and asked the lone lady if she could do the massage in the room and she said CAAAN. So I had her up for a 90-minute oil massage, which was heaven to cap off the visit. The lady asked if I wanted "special", but I declined with my balls still tingling from the TF girl.
Returned to BKK the following morning. All in all the trip ticked all the boxes. I will make a separate post about my observations on getting the most out of the free version of Thai Friendly. Enjoy, AR.
To add to my post below, some reflective observations and optimizations based on my very brief experience using Thai Friendly without subscription in Pattaya.
(1) When you add a photo, go through the additional process to verify by facial recognition. If you do, this will unlock some swiping priviledge and it will give you a "verified" badge that signals to the girls you are you.
(2) Set your limited search settings soonest. I went for age 18-21, Search Near Me and Distance of 3 km. This way I got search hits that would be in my target age range and nearby.
(3) Unfortunately Height, weight and "no children" are Premium Search features. So you need to filter this when you look at each girl profile. My preference was for under 50 kg.
(4) I immediately started getting like notifications. Ping. Ping. Ping. If you just dismiss the notifications, it will go into your "Liked Me" folder, but all the IDs will be hidden with an "Upgrade" upsell. Here is a trick. Pull down the notifications and open up each one. If the girl looks interesting, you can click through. In my case the girl was outside of my preference so I would just dismiss that particular notification. This is an easy way to get premium feature for free.
(5) Key word used by all the working girls is "freelance".
(6) You will be limited to one message every 10 minutes. So I was very direct to move to WhatsApp. Any girl I was interested, I sent a message in TF "Hi. Freelance? Message my WhatsApp at XXXXXXX". With the 10 minute limitation, it is useless to try back and forth messaging on free TF, so move to WhatsApp or LINE as soon as possible.
(7) Once I got the girls on WhatsApp, it was direct to the point. I am attaching a couple examples of WhatsApp chats where the girl didn't meet expectation. And an example from the girl who actually came to me.
(8) Be direct with what you want. Besides my preference for looks, I wanted a certain age (21 and under) and weight (under 50 kg). I didn't want a baby mama (which I encountered frequently). And I wanted girlfriend sex no condom (which was surprisingly and pleasantly easy).
(9) Price most often quoted for what I was looking for was THB2000. I likely could have gotten lower with negotiation, say THB1500, but wasn't so fussed as long as my requirements and expectations were met.
(10) Pattaya TF is quite a meat market. By the following day I had over 180 likes, so volume is not a factor. For me, 90% of those likes were from girls outside of my target. But what I observed is that there were many girls who were working go-go bars, beer bars or beach road as their profile pics were straight from those venues.
(11) I had no issues with free Thai Friendly for the super short duration I used it. Many young and eager providers ready to meet up. However, if I was staying for longer than a few days, IMO it would definitely be worth a $20 monthly subscription to unlock the premium search and messaging features.
(12) Suggest not to try to set anything up in advance. TF is not a high-class escort site that takes bookings. I noticed I was getting notifications in waves, so it seems the girls come online in morning, afternoon, evening and late evening "shifts" depending on their working pattern. They want to set something up quick (and so do you), so nobody is waiting around for anybody. Once I found my girl, I ghosted all the other girls who were messaging. Just like that. And I expect the girls do the same.
(13) Upon return to BKK, I noticed TF is less effective because the city is much bigger and the pool density of P4P providers is less. But it can work, just with more patience and effort.

This will result in lack of business for some ladies, who will migrate to other areas. The resulting thinning of the herds of ladies will cause some loss of interest by East Asian customers, the beginning of a death spiral.
I give Soi 6 5 years before it is converted to hotels.

What happens is that East Asians come to Thailand as a group for two week holidays with their work buddies. They go to Soi 6 and show off by buying huge amounts of drinks. But, they can't go to the room with a lady because their "work buddies" will tell the wife.
So ladies in the bar wait for a customer who will buy them 40 drinks. For Farangs who want to go to the room, they are mostly out of luck. Better to go Soi Chaiyapoon.

Night Wish has been squeezing as much money out of their customers as they can and when I was first asked to buy a girl a rack of shots before I took her upstairs then it was the end for me and I have not gone back. I spent the last two weeks going to Soi Honey and Soi Buakhao and those two Soi 6 independent bars.
I see some changes coming even quicker, NWG might have to sell off bars to fund their legal woes (did you know that as a company NWG was dissolved years ago?

In real talk, it still depends on the place. If the girl says there is a lady drink minimum to go upstairs, they want your money. If she says there is a LD quota for the day before she can be barfined long time, that might be true.
If you're a piggy bank enough to pay the unofficial tax of whatever they want, go and pay it. Others will go to other bars or cross the street and get some freelancers who have no barfine quota nonsense.
If you're not a cheap charlie, go in to or be pulled in to a bar. Buy a cheap drink, or water even. Call over a girl that you like (or bring one in, or be brought in by one). Ask "do you go upstairs? Do you barfine long time to my hotel with me overnight? Likely say no to the second question; they don't know you yet. If they say 'no drinks only girl', pay your tab and leave. If they say yes, you're now going to negotiate how much you are going to be spending in the bar, on the barfine (which should be less if it's very late and close to closing, or should be ZERO if you take her after closing! And on her.
But IMHO if you're looking for girls for long time on soi 6 and you aren't willing to play the 1-2 day long game getting to know someone, I imagine you would be turned down quite a bit, or milked like a piggy bank.
LT is always easier on repeat visits.
