Old timers to Moscow will fondly remember "The Hungry Duck". Arguably the wildest of all the Moscow expats hangouts, it was unceremoniously shut down in about 2002 or thereabouts. This location was formerly "Music Town" but has undergone an extensive renovation that includes a 60 foot long oval bar which can easily accommodate 20+ dancers. The second floor is oriented more towards dining but features a good view of the band stand which is actually elevated and hangs from the wall about 20 feet over the bar. The 3rd floor has a nice Sports Bar feel with flatscreen TV's everywhere plus pool tables and dart boards.

With a little luck this will be a very good expat hang out. And of course, wherever you have expats you have Russian girls. The female to male ratio was easily 2:1 and probably more like 3:1 on opening night. They were broadcasting the Germany vs Greece game which could be seen from just about anywhere because of all the TV screens. but it did not shut down in 2002, i visited there in 2006, although it may have been in a state of decline for many years before that.

in fact, being in a state of decline seems to be the hungry duck's raison the'être. it is all about moral decay!

i guess it was really pretty wild in its prime, but had a charmingly scummy after-taste even when i visited.

here is a snippet of my report from october 2006:

Unfortunately, Moscow does not have anything like an FKK. Which in your case would be PERFECT! But sadly, we have nothing that is quite the same. Saunas are a bit tricky and in your case, can be VERY expensive because usually, you must rent the whole sauna and bring in girls etc. The one you mention (fsauna.ru) looks like it has become more of a spa that a fuck place. I know that some would argue with me, but you might be best off visiting one of the high end strip clubs that offers onsite sex. Either that or visit one of the many salons. The problem is that with so much time to spend, you can't really just hang out without racking up quite a bill. What you MIGHT do, is go to either The Loft or Penthouse Club, which have mini-hotels attached and negotiate a multi-hour rate that will allow you to bring one or several girls back. Again, could get pricey but it's an option.

The other thing to do is just rent a regular hotel for a night and pre-arrange to have a girl come over and "entertain" you for several hours. But again, it gets pretty pricey.

Sorry I cannot be of anymore help than that. Anyone else have any ideas?

It is a long way from tsentrom gorodye. There is no Metro stop in the immediate vicinity, so you will have to take a taxi from the Metro stop to the club. But it is not a bad area by any means. It's actually a pretty nice place. At night it was all lit up with restaurants, clubs, and stores still open. Moscow is not one city: it's a galaxy of hundreds of little cities and neighborhoods. I wouldn't recommend making the trek to Pegas to get laid (because you won't) , but if you are interested to explore the city, this is a good way to do it (plus a happy ending).

Of course, if you overstay the Metro curfew, you will have to get home by taxi and that won't be cheap. If you are lucky enough to have your own car, that would be the ideal situation. Just make sure you have a designated driver.
