Working Remotely in Pattaya
Gentlemen -.
Is this feasable? Are there quiet Internet cafes where you can do work, or which hotels have good lobbies or business centers? Or, based on your experience, are the temptations of drink and women too strong to be able to concentrate for a couple of hours? I'm contemplating a trip there where I may stay officially on the clock. The other requirement is a reliable, fast Internet connection for Teams calls.
Thanks in advance for any tips or experience.

You can also get a Thai SIM card for your phone and use 5G to work on your phone, or to use it as a hot spot. In light of all that connectivity in ordinary shops fewer hotels these days offer an old-fashioned business center. Perhaps if you pay big money to lodge at the Hilton or another luxe property.
So if your work involves sending or receiving emails via commercial providers like Gmail you'll be fine. Connecting from Pattaya to your employer's system is trickier. Lots of corporations are hinky about any packets that come from an IP address in another country. You may get blocked. Your employer may learn your location.
For online meetings using Teams and the like you'll need more than just bandwidth. You'll need RELIABLE bandwidth PLUS a quiet environment. There are a handful of WeWork-type remote working spots, but I've never used them. Suggestion: Rent a condo with a solid fiber optic internet connection.
As for resisting the tempting places that cater to naughty boys, only you can honestly evaluate your will power and dedication to your job.
