Renner maybe you think here we are all stupid and naive, but your first message in this forum was this I quoted above, writing how is great luomo, so did you registered here only to speak about your terma, right ?

Even today you wrote another great positive message about luomo.

If you are not the owner there, for sure you are a co-owner, so why you do not give us a discount instead to try to get more customers using this forum writing bullshits ?

You wrote almost nothing in your message besides that luomo is the place where we all have to go.

I was there twice this week and 5 times in january and I did not registered here in this forum yesterday or few days ago as you did to promote your own business....so here what I think:


SERVICE:

You write it is the best of all Rio....service is shit at luomo !
Why ? I had more than half glass of beer and the waitress come to my table, he waited that I started again to kiss the girl and he took away my glass.... I stand up, bring his hand with my beer and I asked, what the fuck he was doing. He said, embarassed, that the beer was hot, I ordered it less than couple of minutes before....it was still cold, but poor luomo staff, they have so low business there, that they LITERALLY need to rob your drinks !
Why ? Cause it was not enough to rise the prices of drinks, if you have no customer, or very few of them, you have to do everything to get more money..... This is the great service Renner is speaking about....
Funny enough, once I sit down again, the two men close to me that saw everything, bring their glass too...they were afraid or they were sure it will gonna to happen to everybody.
Later think I went to toilet with my bottle of beer, just to avoid the thief garcon....

FOOD:

If luomo is a terma and not a restaurant, so why there is food ???
To try to impress me positively right ?
The problem is that luomo became such a fucking cheap terma now, that they are too shy to no more give you free buffet......or you will immediately understand, they have big economical problems, so they HAVE to keep on you offering food as before, BUT......ooppss.....the buffet is the 20% the size of january and it is divided in 3 parts: meat that tastes as condoms and hard as wood with so much salt, vegetables that looks old and a sort of soup or potatoes pure, full of salt too.
So it is milion times better terma that has no food at all or 4x4 that you order and pay good food instead of something for free, but very low quality and btw.....the feeling is nobody ate the food there, cause at 22:00 there was still the same quantity of food, so....how old is this food, does it healthy to eat it ???
Cause I am sure, they will no buy new fresh food every day....they have no money there now....

ROBE:

I think robe in Rio is very expensive stuff, something as diamonds or gold in the other countries.....cause many robes at luomo has holes and look old, so old, I would like to use there mine...what do they wait to buy some new ones ? Or should we REALLY dress our robes there ?

GENERALLY

I went there 5 times in january, I liked it, was totally different, now....I spoke with 6 girls, I knew from january, they said during the 4 days of carnival only the first one was good, second one so and so and the last 2 days with almost no business.
They said the staff is no friendly at all with them, they are tired and actually you have 2 of them that come almost every day to help and 2 already left luomo try to guess to which one terma.....do you think the other girls will stay there for long time now?

Even the massage, from 50 till 70 reais, made me smile so much....they are trying to get all the money they can....

No business, it means.....the girls have no good mood to work, they almost are lazy to dance, nervous, they are thinking where to go and no more care about customers and the best ones I saw in january are already gone away.


I apologize with all if I wrote the truth and what I honestly think, as I did here in the last 5 years.....but I do not work for luomo and I have no reason to increase the business of a terma that for me is already dead.

P.S. Renner is a totally non sense to compare prices at luomo with centaurus, compare prices at luomo with 4x4 if you are brave enough !!!

But if you will do it, you will have nothing to write here......

Entrance at 4x4 is 40 reais and 180 reais 40 minute and 200 reais 60 minutes...........so one hour at luomo considering some drinks too, is gonna to cost you something as 200 reais more than at 4x4....do I need to write something more ? If yes....it is my pleasure to do it again....

I agree 100% with Lukasek. I was in Rio in Sep 08 and L'uomo was my favorite Terma. I was there almost everyday during my 10 day trip. I visited again in the end of Feb 09, just a couple of weeks ago and It has changed totally for the worse. Shitty food, Bad service and 3 of my favorite girls were gone. Guess what? I never went back. 4X4 is the place to beat in so many respects.

I really liked monte Carlo as well, but only if I didn't want to go to centro. IMO, Monte Carlo is the best Copacabana Terma. They have improved a lot since Sep 08. I didn't really like it back then.

Centaurus is the worst terma, in every regard.

We obviously have different tastes. I have frequented the main termas in Rio since 2000. L Uomo is my favourite. Last month a spent every evening for a week there.I still find it has the best DJ and the best looking girls in Rio (unless you favour the fat assed mulattas with hairy legs and tattoos that you find at 4x4 or in the centro fast fucks) Sandra, the manageress, hires slimmer girls (for brazilian standards) and they are invited to move on if they put on too much weight. Whether you get what you want with the girls depends to some extent on your attitude. The free food is so so. The bolinhos de bacalhau from the bar menu are excellent. The barman with the tattoos is very good. On the minus side I agree that it is a little smokey. If you are watching your wallet, you should watch how much you drink and how many drinks you buy the girls as bar bills can be hefty ( I averaged 350R per evening) but that applies in any termas. One of the 2 masseuses is good (chubby oldish mulatta) the other one is mediocre.

4x4 is a little cheaper but I find it overcrowded, uncomfortable, too rowdy, too full of local police showing off muscle. The biotipe of the girls is too curvy. In my opinion Montecarlo is the only other termas comparable although I find the girls there too agressive generally. The shower area being the only area where it beats luomo.

I have never been to L'uomo but I like loud music, smoke doesn't bother me, I like flat asses but going to a Termas bores me. I used to go to Solarium, Monte Carlo a few times, been to Centaurus twice. 4x4 I first went in 2000 because I met a girl in Help who worked there, she told me the place had 70 girls, so I went and checked it out late afternoon one day, I had fun but since then only went back once. I don't get it, 300 reais for 40 minutes in a room when you can get a girl from Help at 250 reais for all night.

....I am happy, many here no more like luomo, it deserves zero business, cause when the owner doesn't know how to stay in business, less customer/immediately more expensive prices, when he doesn't know how to teach the bartenders and when he thinks he can write a fake report here and have all us believing him....so for me the owner deserves to go to work at Mac Donalds with his bartenders too.

I feel a bit sad for the couple of good girls still there, but I am sure, they will soon end to leave luomo as all the best girls already did.

And however.....speak with some brazilians that goes to termas.... they have much worst opinion than me about luomo, no doubt luomo is only the rip off place for gringos.

But if the next week I will go there, I will report as well and I am too curious to see how it will be there, that I can spend the money of entrance to drink half beer LOL.

BTW......... Suddendly, I see......Renner got too shy to answer to my report about luomo....yes, sometimes the truth is not so much comfortable....

well , some of us have to get up early in the morning so an all nighter is not on the cards, particularly after a day´s work and a couple of pops in a termas. aside from that , i particularly prefer the safer environment of the termas and the better hygene. additionally, many of the termas customers and some of the tourists (and indeed some of the girls) have someone at home to go back to, so the helpee option is out. money may not be so much of a concern for some people, particularly when we a talking about a couple hundred reais here and there. over the years i have "befriended" several termas girls, so when i travel to rio, i see them outside the termas if i want a sleepover, a weekend in the beach etc

Brazilian men do not like L uomo because is full of people like us....gringos.

Gringos are perceived by Brazilian men and GDPs are soft targets. Whereas the average Brazilian who frequents 4x4, will drink nothing but cheapish Skol, spend hours with his mates touching the girls (there is a word for this, "pentelhos"=pubic hair) and only ever so often taking them to a room (where he will insist on hard ball anal), the average gringo will usually drink expensive drinks (and invite the girls!) and will usually go to a room within an hour of arriving to the termas and often with the first girl that approaches him and feels his dick.

This is one of the oldest and least productive discussions on the board. I completely agree with Sangue Bon's statement here. But I also understand why there are those who like the Termas.

I personally prefer Help. But I go to 4x4 at least once on every trip. Mostly I do it to scout girls that I can meet outside. The right terma is outstanding place to see, be at and hunt for our prey. The uniform pricing sturcture gives a lot of guys comfort. The fact that the girls get frequent medical attention is the biggest plus in my mind. But, I could not make it my primary place to hang because of the uniform pricing structure.

I like the game of negotiation. I like having a girl tell me 600 Reals and then taking her home for 200 Reals. I like to watch the other guys hunt and be hunted. It is a beautiful sight to watch in Help. But because some of the girls there are ugly and foul, I understand why some guys don't like Help.

There was a time when I would read a post from a Terma guy and think, "man that guy has not clue." But now I understand that different guys like different things. I am quite frankly glad that more guys don't like Help because sometimes it gets to be crowed and I can't see all the fine women. But I am sure that the Terma guys wish that more guys like me stay out of the Termas and let them hunt there.

I was at 4x4 last week and it was crowded as hell. That is usually the case when I go and it is frustrating. You can't move. It was a Thursday night and there were very few Americans there. The talent pool was outstanding, as usual. I had a good time but decided not to take a girl. I was there to take a friend who was a first timer. He had a great time.

My last two visits (within last 8 months) to MC was quite disappointing. In fact, I did not pull. The facility has deteriorated over the years, and the women were not as friendly from years prior. Man, back in the days, that place was F N hot! In fairness, I will visit the premisies in five days, and report back.

I do plan on going to LM, which has been my fav these past years. Received intel that a couple of my favoritas have left. Am curious to see what the line up is like, now.

Cancun will be on my upcoming tour. I have often walked by the place, however, never been. From what I have read, they seem to have a good selection, with great service. Looking forward to it.

No kidding. Other than buying the girls expensive drinks I don't see nothing wrong with the other things that us gringos do at termas. Isn't that what we are supposed to do. We don't travel thousands of miles to drink cheap Skol beer, grope girls we could be fucking and occasionally bang one every other visit or so. You can do most of what they do at termas at strip clubs here in the states.
