I was watching a YouTube video and the guy was saying the girls in Soi six bars offer to do their services upstairs in rooms and you don't have to pay the bar fine to take them out. Is that true? The bars offer their own rooms? I like this idea not having to pay a 2000 or 3,000 bar fine plus pay the girl.

The standard session on Soi 6 takes place in a room on the upper level of the bar. There is no "bar fine" in the conventional sense. But the bar charges a small fee for using the room, typically about 500 baht.

You can pay ST for the girl and the bar charges a smaller bar fine (around 400-500 THB) for the room upstairs. It's a good way to see if you vibe with her before committing to a longer duration.

Passport. I intend to keep Passport book locked in hotel safe the entire time. Not worth the risk of losing by carrying.
Are there any scenarios where I'll need an official ID out own the prowl? If I want to book a cheap hotel somewhere for a few hours to knock off a piece of pussy will they need a passport to book me?
If I mind my own business and stay out of trouble any reason for police to ask for ID?

Beach resort. I'm a big beach person and think of finding a nice resort on the beach to hang out at beach in the daytime. Not worried about cost.
What is the quality of the beach? Nice blue water with no rocks and easy waves? I spent many winters in Waikiki so I'm used to nice beaches.
Are the beach resorts too far from the night life? Would I be isolating myself too much.
Would such resorts have any problem with bringing girls ro room?
Getting around. Is there UBER or the equivalent? Let's say I go to a gentlemens club that's out of the way and take a taxi or auber getting there. Now I leave like 2 am. Will int the hard to find a taxi or UBER if it's not at a busy street. Is getting stranded a legit concern.
Weed. I like to do edibles when I'm mongering. Are there legal weed shops where to buy or is it underground and I have to take risk to acquire?
In my opinion, taking a girl out of the bar to do short time is not cost effective. Personally, if I am going to bar fine a girl on [B]Soi 6[/B] it is going to be for long time. I have had really good success with that.

Myst is nice but difficult to get a table downstairs if you go late. Upstairs is kind of cramped but can get a corner table for makeout.

Police won't ask for your ID if you don't find yourself in trouble (won't happen if you respect other peoples around).
You can bring your USD or equivalent currency and change it directly here, many money changing boots all around the place (bring only the bills that are in very good condition).
The beach is kind of dirty, with lots of boats and jetsky in the vicinity, and dirty stuff on the sand. You can still have a good walk on the sand early in the morning, or on the paveway during the day though.
Beach resorts are not far from the night life.
Bolt and Grab are the equivalent of Uber, are cheaper and work better than Uber (try installing them before arriving).
Weed shops are all over the place.
Don't forget writing proper reports after your trip.

My advice:
Keep a photocopy and digital copy of your passport with you.
If bringing USD cash, make sure they are in pristine condition. Exchange them at TT Currency Exchange counters (yellow in color) all over the city. They have the best exchange rate.
7-Elevens typically have ATMs right outside, attached to the same building. I would be surprised if you face any issue with those.
As for withdrawal limit, 15000 should be fine for pretty much all banks' ATMs. Upper limit is 20000 or 30000 baht depending on the bank. Do make sure your card is enabled for international ATM use and has adequate limits configured.
Some "Pattaya" resorts are actually quite far from action. Do confirm if yours is not too far away from your primary destination. Usually that is Central Pattaya.
You can hail a ride with Bolt / Grab at any time of the day / night. Never have I been left stranded.

Well, I understand why they might WANT to do that with a Soi 6 hottie they think is dreamy. But "take away" has never been part of the Soi 6 business model. The original concept had the girls sitting outside an enclosed bar waiting for a naughty boy to take her inside. After a round (or perhaps two) the pair climbed the stairs and Bob's Your Uncle. Today the bars are almost all open to the street, and the number of girls is an order of magnitude higher. But if a chap is inclined to do more than bend an elbow with one of the girls the bars still prefer that take place on the premises. And they either ban the girls from leaving outright, or make it prohibitively expensive by demanding a hefty bar fine plus running up a big check bin.
The traders on Wall Street counsel "never fight the Fed." On Soi 6 you might say "never fight the Night Wish Group's house rules." If I'm looking for somebody to come back to the Fully Functioning Babe Lair where I'm staying, there are multiple places I can find a companion. But when I head for The Six I do so knowing that if I make the acquaintance of Ms. Right Now, we'll be taking care of business upstairs.

Baht bus, and both have several bank branches inside. The usual withdrawal limit is 30 k. Your home bank may have limits on withdrawals, and may charge an international ATM fee. Do *not* change USD into Baht in the states. The cross rate will be terrible. If you'd rather convert your dead presidents to the live king after arriving be sure to bring fresh clean hundreds. TT Exchange is reliable and they have booths all over town. You'll need to show a passport to change money.

Some didn't even have ensuite showers and had to use a hallway one. And I personally found these bars way too loud. I preferred going to gents clubs like Heaven Above and the soapies.
