Thanks to the seniors and 'very seniors' for their response; few of them good and some are point-less and they want to show they are experts.

So far I am getting girls from TF App only, initially I paid 1500 each to a couple of girls. Later stopped asking them for ST, but for '2 hours'. Preferred to hire those girls not specifying the amount in chat and paying them in an envelop TBH 1500 - 2000 based on their looks, age and service levels. Hope this info will help first-time visitors, instead of getting insults from 'very senior mongers'.

My advice:

Keep a photocopy and digital copy of your passport with you.

If bringing USD cash, make sure they are in pristine condition. Exchange them at TT Currency Exchange counters (yellow in color) all over the city. They have the best exchange rate.

7-Elevens typically have ATMs right outside, attached to the same building. I would be surprised if you face any issue with those.

As for withdrawal limit, 15000 should be fine for pretty much all banks' ATMs. Upper limit is 20000 or 30000 baht depending on the bank. Do make sure your card is enabled for international ATM use and has adequate limits configured.

Some "Pattaya" resorts are actually quite far from action. Do confirm if yours is not too far away from your primary destination. Usually that is Central Pattaya..[/QUOTE]Good to know that transport is easy, TY.

Beach resort. I'm a big beach person and think of finding a nice resort on the beach to hang out at beach in the daytime. Not worried about cost.

What is the quality of the beach? Nice blue water with no rocks and easy waves? I've stopped getting Baht altogether until after I've arrived. Have saved close to 10% sometimes.

I bank with Kasikorn (green) and always go to the Krung Sri or TMB machines to get 30,000 then deposit it into my bank. You can always call your home bank and get them to adjust your daily withdrawal limit. I have done it before when making large purchases.

Like, did you manage to get 2 pops? In my experience, they all leave pretty soon after I pop once.

Just a PSA for those in town. No booze for 24 hours for Pattaya mayoral election. Starts Saturday June 27 at 6 pm until Sunday June 28 at 6 pm.

Line up your favorite gogo girl now. You usually find deals on days like this when they have no where to work. At a minimum no barfine.

Statistically, the number of 35+ are higher in Rompho than the main town but there still are younger girls. For me the experience matters more than some 30 min encounter with some youngin' in Soi 6. There's tons of bars in the complex as well. I'd say most of my nights in Rompho were pretty damn good.

If you want a higher selection of the youngish ones in Jomtien, then GCs (gentlemen's clubs) are a good bet. I've visited most of them and I had a pretty chill time.

I was detained by the police with some other guys, driven to the soi 9 police station, and sat there for some time as things were sorted out. I told them that my passport was at home, they were too busy dealing with other stuff before there was a reaction. Finally, they drove me home to fetch my passport. Just when I arrived, word came through that one of the wealthy detainees arranged some tea money, so the police lost interest in me.

If I had presented my passport, or a copy, early on, the Pattaya police would have a record of me, which I prefer they don't.

Made the mistake of making a non-refundable booking at this hotel for my upcoming trip. After booking, I read few recent reviews of the hotel and they mention its NOT guest friendly and charges 1000 baht per guest, even if the room is booked for 2 people. I intend to bring 2-3 girls per day so I am looking at 7000-8000 baht in charges!

Has anyone who has stayed here before confirm if it's true? Any way to bypass the reception to take them directly to the room?

Fortunately I booked only 3 nights here, with remaining days in confirmed guest friendly hotels but I don't want to waste these 3 days too. Should I book some cheap hotel for the ST business and just sleep at the Mytt?
