$116 ++ which is 17%.
SNIPPED
BTW, looking for a hotel in November and agoda has terminal 21 rooms with breakfast for 51% off. There is a $15 USD cancellation fee if you cancel it but not too bad for locking in the price. Superior for $116.
If you want full cancellation rights it is 4500 baht (139 USD). Breakfast adds another 500 baht, which I find very overpriced.

You can also check out the close by Suk soi 33 massage shops including Akane and Love Teen.

Picture cards
I think the most secure place to store your passport would be in the hotel safe behind the front desk. I have never done this though as the room safe is fine for me. What I do is carry a photocopy of my passport with me as I move around the city, leave the original in the hotel room safe, and email myself a PDF copy just in case.
As for room safe safety. During my last visit the safe was on the fritz ("no power" LOL) and it turned out it needed a new battery which took about 15 minutes to change out. So yah hotel maintence can get into them if necessary which IMO is not a big deal.
SunLover.
Another idea is to make photographic records of the passport on XD picture cards, which can be kept in various places.

Looking forward
Anyone hear if ISG is now available at Admiral Premier. I heard you couldn't get it as they are blocking it. Also, What is the story with Grand President on Soi 11. : ast time there it was fine and breakfast was fine. That was last September. I was in tower 3 and it was fine. Any current info as I read it is not good anymore.
Is this information correct?

Thanks.
If I'm not mistaken Admiral Premier is only a stone's throw distant from Sukhumvit Soi 23 which is full of little massage parlours, mainly of the "oilie" type. I had some good experience at the Se Daeng MP, in front of Citadines Hotel. You will easily recognize it as the girls wear red dresses ("Se Daeng", means "color red".

I assume that your post was a response to my question. I know that A P was blocking 3 or 4 months ago. I am asking for up to date information. I use a small.
Computer. There is no smart phone for me.

I use the basic plan which is free. The premium plan is $6.25/ month. I only use proXPN when I certain sites I am interested in are blocked like at the Admiral Premier. It solves the problem flawlessly. Nothing is blocked once I click on the program icon and log in. It is a great little program.

NB and grand president
Thanks for the info NB. Anyone have any current info on Grand President on soi 11. Some one said it was bad breakfast and rooms were not good. I stayed in 3rd.
Tower last September and it was fine.

GP is Still Okay

Tower last September and it was fine.
I stayed there last month and it was still fine. My room was a Jr. Suite in Tower I. Getting a bit shop-worn, but really no complaints. And, the price at that time was a real bargain. I think the breakfast buffet is still okay, but it has slipped a bit in quality over the past 2-3 years. I'll still stay there from time to time.
Hope this helps.

Thanks.
Not sure why it needs be so close. Its a short motorbike taxi ride to Soi 24,24/1, 26 and 33 Massage shops. For Soapies, its also not that far to Annies, or more up market La Belle (not my favourite), or Amsterdam. The later 2 can be got to quickly by the MRT subway or I use motor bike taxi if short of time.
There are plenty of massage shops in Soi 23. I am sure some have been reviewed in the past.
For Mackin, I don't think we can say for certain when AP is blocking the ISG. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Seems to vary. Last Time I was there ISG worked. Not sure why you would try to survive without a smart phone with 3 G internet visitors data plan. Can buy one quite cheaply these days. Having Google Maps when on the go can be handy. Hotel Internet can be iffy anywhere so I always need backup internet connection so I can work.
I have just booked Grand Mercure Asoke on Soi 19 for 2 nights at 2800 per night (Wotif) including very good breakfast and great pool for the girls. Deluxe room has lounge, kitchen, dining, its huge. Separate shower and bath. I think its better than Admiral Premier overall, and at this price, a steal. AP was always good but don't see the really bargain prices so much there these days. It got too popular. Okay You can get an AP room for less than 2800 but its not going to be close to the same size and standard.

SW.
I was at GP in April and complained about my room in the building across the road. They moved me into Tower I to a junior suite and it was acceptable. The breakfast was just ok. I'm not returning as there are better experiences out there.
