Maybe you have to go in order to understand. The only difference between weekday and weekend is that on the weekend a lot of people from Bangkok come making more traffic.

You also have to worry about those things in the water under the sand that will stick in your feet. They are kind of like sea urchin. It is pretty expensive (compared to Thai standards) there as well. Also same as Koh Larn, the speed boat is 500 baht and the big boat is like 40 baht. I recommend the big boat. There is poor communication on the speed boat side of the game because there are so many companies, plus that speedboat exhaust is a killer.

Yes, there is slightly more activity at the weekend than during week nights. But as with all things, YMMV.

I was there a week in the end of June this year. In general, as I guess you all have heard by now, ladydrinks have raised in cost and is around 180-200 in many places. Although there are bars where it still around 150.

Soi 6:

Drink minimums is the latest thing that has been added in Pattaya. It seems some people belive they can just ask for whatever extra costs they want. On soi 6 many bars have started with it. I walk out when I hear it. I had one girl in bars that don't charge drink minimums, no drink minimums and ok prices. And with ok prices I mean 1200 to the girl. Notice that I discuss the prices, not just accept whatever is being thrown at me. One of the girls asked for 1500 but the other one said herself that the girl and the barfine is 1500 in total.

I have never experienced girls being so grabby and hungry for customers on soi 6 as this time.

A list on another forum have been made for the drink minimum type of bars on soi 6:

Bettergroup.

Myth night and tree town:

Didn't find anything special here. I found a girl in myth night. But when we started talking about barfines I heard that she wanted 3000 LT, which was ok as she was young and cute. BF LT was 700. But then I heard that it was a drink minimum of 3 LD. Paid for the one beer and one LD I already had and walked out. But on my way out I talked to the mamasan and asked her why the old Pattaya was busy and successful despite there being no minimum ladydrinks. I told her that things like this only give Pattaya a bad reputation. Thais don't really like to argue so I said "good luck, you are going to need it" and left.

I asked around about barfines and prices and they seem to be all over the place.

GOGO-bars:

Some in walking street now have draft beers for around 100 baht. Palace agogo have for 100 baht. This is great value for eye candy. Palace is the best gogo on WS for eye candy. Pin-up has improved since 2024, when I was surprised at the negative change in quality. Many have happy hour etc. Prices are still high for barfining and for girls. One of the days I was in Palace it was full of east Asians. But the two other days I was there then not even 45% of the seats were taken. Same goes for the others I visited on WS.

On LK metro it is a very mixed bag. Lady love has many cuties but they are also a bit cold. In this bar I actually talked to one women that accepted 3000 for LT  But don't epect that from the majority of women there. In Ladylove it was the first time that a girl didn't want to sit with me for a ladydrink, later she sat down with some east Asian. First time I was refused by a Korea-only girl. But it didn't bother me to much, this is now what happends in Pattaya. And I am not old and fat, haha. But it is very bad manner and not very positive for the bars image.

When it comes to atmosphere and fun then I think las vegas agogo and destiny was good. Didn't ask any prices.

Bars in general around LK Metro and soi bukhao:

Some cute girls has been added to the staff since I was there last time. There are still many that are fat and / or old. But some cuties have been added. Don't expect any low prices if you don't negotiate. The most chocking was that ladies in Annie jacks bar ask 3 k ST and 5 K LT. That was the price I got from one of the girls that had worked earlier at crystal club agogo. She is now like 35 years old and average looking. Its very quiet and still they ask this type of prices. I don't know if this is true for all ladies in Annie jacks but it is utterly absurd to sit there without customers and ask this prices.

Prices are negotiable in many bars and there are good deals to be had, but the thing today is that this takes some experience and to dare to negotiate prices. ST can be had for 1200 with some girls. I was walking past one of the old bars close to LK metro. Saw an average looking 24 year old. She came LT with me for 2000 and barfine was 300. First night with her was good but second time she was mostly a starfish. Although we got along very well.

Gentlemens club:

Found a lady, slim and cute but 40 years old in Passion jomtien. She was with me two nights for 2000 a night. Really good sex. She seemed to enjoy it and according to her she orgasmed. And yes, I belive her.

Unfortunatly I did not visit anymore GC except Heaven above which is a sort of hybrid between gogo and GC. The prices for girls however is far to much in Heaven above. 2000ST and 4000 LT. Barfine for a room upstairs I 600. Come on. Many of the women there are older. Some cuties. But it is far to much considering that the average daily salary in Thailand is 600 baht and what thais pay. I talked to a thai taxi driver about this, he said that 1000 baht is what thai men pay in most cases and that for a really cute gogo girl it would be 2000. That is ST prices. The environment and prices for drinks in Heaven is good. It would have been a top place with reasonable prices for the women.

In conclusion I can say that you can have a good time in Pattaya but to get good prices you must negotiate the costs or visit the right places. You must be "street smart" for a lack of a better term. I would advise everyone to boycott bars that have drink minimums for barfines. This is pure bullshit! And as I said before, is it not strange that Pattaya flourished before without all of this extra drink minimums and high barfines? Right now Pattaya is quiet and I don't really see the next "high season" being something that will really improve anything. Maybe for some and a little bit, but nothing to brag about.

So when I'm in Pattaya I'll be targeting the hotter lookin in their 20's and not worry about negotiating. So if all in its 8-10 k BHT for 2-3 hours it's a bargain to me.

That's a pretty good price, even in low season. Bar fine was 700. Again, a good price.

But usually when I'm at a venue I prefer to get BJs and short times from the girls working there rather than discounted bootleg services with the male customers.

Jokes aside, no. I don't think these prices are realistic (not while i was there, not with any girl i found attractive which.narrows it down further) but others can weigh in and try I guess.

Plenty of girls as always, but most of the pretty girls were really there and available, and they were showing interest to be picked unlike other periods of the years. A real contrast with a few months ago, in October-November 2025 for example.

I've met 4 girls there, 3 very pretty and the other one was a fuck machine. They were willing to charge lower prices, 1500 baht was ok with most girls, though the very pretty ones were still holding on the 2000 baht rate, which I think were fair prices. Most of the places are charging 500 baht for the room now and some bars are charging up to 250 baht per lady drink (like the Envy bar, avoid that place, went there only once and the girl finished her drink in less than a minute to immediately ask for a second one). I had a great time until I realized one of these girls infected me with gonorhea, which fucked the end of my trip.

Once you start touching them, they instantly get a big sip on their drink, and a few seconds later the drink is over, in no time a waitress comes over and start the pressure to buy another drink.

The gogo I liked the most was Lighthouse, good mix between good looking and playful girls when they come and sit with the customer (a little bit like Windmil but no full nude and much better looking girls).

Something that is ignored here. There is a small number of Western female mongers in Pattaya. Many are wives, trying to keep their hold on their husbands by pretending to like ladies. But there are some who go to bars alone and barfine bargirls.

One of the ladies in my rotation specializes in serving women. Most are wives, but some are real lesbians. My friend isn't a lesbian, but she can handle doing the dirty with ladies for money.
