I've been there. The food was OK. I think the attraction is more about the view and location than anything else. There are plenty of other restaurants that are more convenient with food that is as good or better. After all, panoramic views of the valley are not hard to find. Check any of slapshots jacuzzi photos.

I think I've just about filled up a notebook worth of notes for my first trip. I'm 39, been married for 12 years, and this is the first boys trip I've had in. 12 years. How is the transportation situation there? I'm worried about being stuck in some seedy bar at 4 am with no way home LOL are taxis or uber running 24/7?

I have been searching the forum for a while and have yet to find out where these mansions are. Everyone seems to be keeping to info a secret for some reason. I landed last night and was even trying to see about booking a room at the mansion. There is a dude selling the info for $75 but that seems ridiculous. Can anyone help me out here?

I just think its lame that's all they can offer, I'm sure they can find better chefs.

What are beers / mixed drinks costing right now in Medellin? Prices at bars, strip clubs, and then just liquor stores? And is everything opened regularly again? No curfew? Sorry for the all the questions. When I visit in a few weeks, I'll make sure to post about my experiences. Thanks guys!

Hello, this my first trip to Colombia. I arrive late on Thursday and then stay in Medellin from Friday to Sunday before taking off toe Santa Marta. If anyone would like to grab a beer, please DM me. You can go in there entry maybe up to 50 K. Recommend going after 10 pm, as more chicas appear.

If you're in Parque Lleras expect to pay 10 k and up for beer and as much as 40 k for a mixed drink. If you're in Laureles drop that down to 6 k and up for beer and up to about 30 k for mixed drinks. In liquor stores you'll pay between 2 k and 6 k for a beer. In bars in El Centro you can get a beer for 3-4 k.
