That is how I met Jairo and got to go to all the casas. I would not go now as I can get the same quality on the streets and clubs of Santa Fe. Transmilenio is a great way to get around-- Sometimes the quickest too. But it can get Super Crowded at peak -- I mean Crazy. But you really don't want to be going anywhere at peak rush hour.

The general information from Routard is excellent. Next year I will be in Bogota for 3 weeks. If the B3 Virrey hotel is girlfriendly, it could be a good option for me.

Is there a Cialis generica available in Colombia and in case what is the name of the drug?

Then again I don't carry a wallet, minimize the cash I carry, split it between front pockets and keep aware.

But, if you like to carry a phonemail or wallet in your back pockets, you might not keep them long.

One trick is to be patient. If the bus you want is crowded (I won't say full, because there is no such thing as a full Transmilenio. There's always room for another 853 people.), just wait. Learn which routes stop at, or near your desired stop. Chances are one will be less crowded, or one will stop at the next station, where you can hop an empty bus back.

If you're not in a hurry, take a bus in the opposite direction, until you can grab the right bus with still empty seats. Easier to protect your pockets while sitting.

If you are on a bus that gets packed, don't worry about your stop. Keep your seat until the crowd thins, then backtrack. At most you'll lose an hour and you can hop back and forth between buses all you want, as long as you don't exit a station. For 2000 cop, it's a bargain.

Of course if you're in a rush and every second counts, you probably shouldn't be in Bogota.

Has anyone rented a chica friendly vacation apartment in Chapinero? One without chica fees. I was looking on air bnb and flipkey. This will be my first trip to Bogota. However, I have had plenty of luck finding these in Santa Marta, Baranquilla and Cartagena.

Thanks so much![/QUOTE]There is no chica fees for apartments when rented through airbnb (or elsewhere) I don't think. This is the first time I hear though this could happen with hotels in Bogota. I search for apartments in Bogota for weeks and contacted many and never came across one asking for chica fees expect may be some would charge extra for more than one guest chica or otherwise (and some say extra guest free) and that is for overnight stay. That said I didn't tell them directly about escorts visiting but just told them I may have visitors during my stay and with the exception of one (out of 50) they all said visitors are okay but they have to check in at reception (no ID left unlike hotels) and the security will call me and ask for permission. That said loud parties for all and overnight stay for some not allowed. Also my case may be different as I am seeking companionship and not sex or any kind of sexual activity just fully dressed companionship and limited wine and chocolate, so I assured my landlord there will be no disturbance of any kind or loud music or overnight stay. And in return they assured me that I can have visitors without any issues. Hope this helps.
