[/QUOTE]Young guys always have the advantage of being young. I was 19 when I took my first trip outside the USA. A Jamaican hooker threw herself at me. No money involved. Then for the next 10 years or so as my travels broadened throughout Central and South America I never paid for sex. The pro girls just wanted to shag the young, white American. Hell, the girls throw themselves at white guys in their early 20's.

There seems to be a number of new venues opening just this year. When last there, I tried the Mexican restaurant in the new building next to Oskars. It was not bad for a Hong Kong based chain!

Funny story on "acting 22". A year ago I flew a Brazilian girl to London for a week. The first day or so I was the out of place old guy on the dance floor. Cute and chatty hostess/greeter named Raksa or Laksa standing there. There are 2 levels, bottom level functions as a normal modern slightly upscale restaurant and bar. Apparently, the top floor is more like a sports bar with pool tables, big screens and such, but I did not go upstairs to check it out.
The menu is heavy on burgers, steaks and chops, running from around 350 baht to 680+ baht. I did not notice a roasted lamb chop option but would think there probably is one.
Hostess says there is "some dancing" later but I just saw people dining at around 8pm last night, mostly couples and Farang groups.
The vibe I got was it could be a bit more casual (no discernable dress code) possible FL pick up destination in the Oskar's Bistro style. I saw a couple of outside tables with 2-3 well dressed attractive Thai girls who were rubber necking, looking around to see if they could catch the attention of my friend and I as we stood stood checking the menu.

Sure, I got a fair number of freebies, and that was fun, certainly more uplifting for the ego than paying for it. However, if you want choice, you picking the girl rather than the other way around, you still have to pay. If you want sex at your own schedule, without needing even the token bit of effort, you have to pay.

I passed it last night when rolling down 11 to guide some newbie. Ill wait for a few more Goggle reports about the food which I am sure is decently mediocre and overpriced at best. If you are looking for food recs, let me know. I rarely go down to that area for Sports, usually just for eating somewhere (with some Telly as a bonus), and never on Soi 11 since the last time I had an overpriced and underwhelming Tai burger.

I miss this small joint at Soi 7/1, alley. It was small, packed and loud enough for beers and FL girls. No pressure, pushing, rush but an active place that winded up about 2 years ago.

In Phuket, these old slobs with singlets walking with young hotties also in singlets no bra with nipples pretty well defined (natural tits too). WTF was I doing there with a wife? Ha ha. I was in late 20's. Not sure if their were a lot of ladyboys in Phuket back then, I guess so. I might not have known much. Are most of us happy with deterioration in this phenomenon? I don't think so, even if it looks a bit incongruous. I am at least trying to avoid the pot belly and slob look. All shirts at least have short sleeves. Exposing sweaty and possibly smelly (for many) armpits is not good.

Very few places have roast lamb any more. So its actually unlikely. Lamb cutlets or lamb chops are more common.
