Bangkok, day 4 (Thursday)
Slept late, had a late check-out from iCheck Inn. Street driver / hustler hauled me over to Nana hotel, which wasn't far, but I didn't want to lug my bags up 36 stairs to cross Sukhumvit. Getting around downtown is hard, especially if you are in a taxi, due to the traffic.
Nana hotel made a bad impression on me at first, got worse the next day. Now I am OK with it. See the Hotel board for details, if you care.
Touristy stuff: Got a driver from Nana Hotel named Wittaya, I will keep his number and use him for inner city trips next time I am in Bangkok. Made it to the Jim Thompson house, it was beautiful and worth the visit.
Across Soi 4 from Nana hotel is the world-famous Nana Plaza. On the left corner, as you enter, is Big Dog bar. I found it to be a great place to sit and watch Circus Nana, the FL working in front of Nana hotel and just life in general. The energy of this place (Soi 4 and the Nana parking lot) is amazing! Drinks are cheap and I got to know the girls in there well. Oiy, 45 and chubby, not attractive to me at first, glommed on to me and I bought her drinks. She joked the first day that we were married, next day we were divorced, next day we are back together. I have started to like her and will probably BF her Sunday morning, if I have any energy left.
I was very tired and went to sleep at 8 PM, woke at 12:40 and decided to do Nana Plaza. I went in 3 bars there, Billboard, Butterflies and Rainbow, if I remember right. The music was so damn loud I couldn't communicate with the servers, mamasans or girls. In one of the bars two girls, a server and a mamasan were gathered around me and asked me a question I had no way to hear. I must have nodded, because suddenly drinks for everyone along with tequila rose shots appeared. Cost me 840 baht to get out of there. I decided go-go bars, car alarm music and my bad hearing do not a fun or cheap night make.
I wandered south on Soi 4 until I came to Hillary II, worked my way to the back to use the potty. It was very crowded, with a pretty good live band. On my way out I was waylaid by a cute, 152 cm, 50 kilo, 28 year old With jaw length hair. Kok honeyed up to me and made sure I knew she was the one for me. We had about 4 drinks each, she was hugging and rubbing me. Her manner was pure GFE, which I just can't resist. I took her back to Nana hotel, and her service let me down. Poor BBBJ, lips barely making contact with the tool, rough with my wiener, and cowgirl was disappointing. I faked an orgasm to get her to stop, then sent her on her way. Disappointing. Damage: 2,000 baht, no bar fine. She wanted to know why I didn't keep her TLN, I lied and told her I was too tired. Do you go to hell for lying to a working girl? Or is it forgiven because they won't take no for an answer? LOL.

Some possible good news for BKK punters!
I unfortunately booked a crap hotel on soi 7 (soi go pee pee) but in doing so saw that a mini complex of of about 15 new girly bars being constructed right now. Its right off Sukumvit and before the beer garden. Only one open as of yesterday staffed by 3 grandmas but hopefully when this mini complex is complete they get some fresh talent. In the days of tear anything down remotely good to build a shit condo this could be some rare good news. And on the far side of the street are multiple pop up bar stands with some street food, late career Thai hos and a few hot Africans to entertain you while watching the paint dry on the the new girly bars.
OK, you know so damn much!
Dude with the upmost respect, if your reports are true, they indicate that you have violated almost every precept of mongering set forth in this board over and over again. Who, in this day and age, falls for taxi cab scams?
Let me help you for your next trip, as I was also there at Thermae Friday night at 9 and I stayed till about 11. First of all sodas are 70 baht and 90 baht. They always give change. You merely need wait for it. The little guy wasn't yelling at you to buy a drink, that's what they do, they stand there and tell everybody to buy a drink. Now I do recall a large farang there but I can assure you he wasn't being waved at. Because the girls don't usually wave. In fact, I've been in term a probably 30 times plus this year and I have never seen a girl wave. The only blondes in the place on Friday night that I saw was the ugly old Mamasan with the troll face and the hot but sour attitude chick from the south of Thailand who stands in the same place everyday who I have seen there innumerable times. She always ask for 3000. I sincerely doubt she was begging you to take her but why don't you tell me where she was standing and we can see if we're talking about the same young lady. If we are, and you didn't take her, you didn't miss much. But now that I think about it, there was a second blond in there Friday night, and the blond I am referring to had already been taken. The second blonde is a semi-regular and I do recall her talking to some large guy wearing like lime green, socks and sandals. But she's nowhere close to 30 in fact, neither of these two blonde girls are.
You have most of your facts wrong, and you are extremely negative. I have reported truthfully to give back to the board. No, I wasn't in lime green wearing socks and sandals. Yes, some of the girls gave me come hither hand movements. Yes, there was a pretty 30 something slim blond with big bazoobies that was adamant about me taking her home. I have no reason to make this shit up. If you and the other nattering nabobs of negativity want to attack an open and honest report, give it hell. I probably just won't share anymore. Is that your goal? And your comments about the tuk tuk scram and driver totally make it look like you didn't even read what I posted. Yes, the tuk tuk drivers tried to scam me. The car driver did not. He misunderstood me and took me where I wanted to go. I didn't just fall off the tater truck. I have travelled in many third world countries and have learned the hard way when I am being hustled and when I am not. I got hustled some on this trip. A lot of what you are saying I got duped on, well, whatever.
If you want open and honest sharing of information and experiences on this board, you need to rethink your negative reaction to what you see. If not, keep up the trend. Pretty soon no one will want to risk the wrath of Nyezov and the board will be poorer for that.
I suggest you either read my posts closer or examine your tendency to look for negative issues to make yourself look better than others.
Respectfully, Tool Shedd.
