I received a similar comment from Immigration in Lax. Had the feeling the guy was ex-military and probaby knew what he was talking about.
The guy was just giving you his advice, because he sees so many white guys thinking with their dick and overlooking the obvious.
My buddy was in the military and he said many guys get offered lots of cash for a scam marriage.

Pregnancy
I went to visit the Philippines a few months ago. I visited with a nice girl there. A few weeks later, she send me an email that she was pregnant by me, and she wanted me to give her 15, 000 peso for abortion. I did not answer her and now she is threatening me with the Philippine government. She knows the hotel I stayed in and she said she can track me down by hotel registration or my Smart cell phone number. Is this possible?
Look speaking from personal experience when I was a rookie mongering around in Cebu, I ran into the same issue with a girl that I trusted and thought we were an item, and by the way I was sending her money every month (7 months) until I got wise and when I went back, I told her that I could not support her because funds were dry and I noticed her whole behaviour towards me changed. We always used a condom however one night, I am not sure what happened, I drank too much and after sex she made it a point (drama) oh condom came off or broke, I can't remember. All I know is when I got home. 3 weeks later she tells me she missed her period and is worried because she thinks she is pregnant.
To cut a long story short, I was scared and worried but after talking to people and other filipinos here is the States, they told me she was scamming me. Sure enough she sent me an email confirming that she was pregnant and wanted to do an abortion but she had no money. Look it was a hard time for me but my Filipino friends told me that an Abortion in the filipines is a very big deal and not so easy to get done. She did threaten me that she would go to the American embassy blah blah but I did not cave in.
You should call her bluff and break yourself away from this. This is just my 2 cents. Good Luck.
just got home i will give a report of my great time in manila and cebu. i wanted to ask you did anyone have the same experience i did with immigration. the officer there said did you go to philippines to meet your gf i said yes he told me never marry her never bring her here to usa i said why. he told me he seen to many come here and divorce they just want you to come here. i said thanks you just ruined my day he said just trying to help you.
that may be true a majority of the time, but not always. my filipina wife and i have been married for 6 years, and she's been a us citizen for 2 years. we have a 27-year age difference-our marriage is better than ever, and going strong. she still "[CodeWord124]" me on a regular basis!
interestingly, when my wife was still my fiancee in the philippines, part of the fiancee visa process was a requirement, by the philippine government, that she attend a "counseling session" conducted by the commission on filipinos overseas (cfo) and obtain a certificate from them. otherwise, even with the passport and us visa, the philippine government wouldn't let her leave the philippines.
anyway, the cfo "counseling" is conducted by nuns who try to persuade the filipina not to marry the foreign guy, making claims that all foreign men beat and sometimes murder their brides for insurance money. they even show them a film with all sorts of horror stories. only after this day-long "counseling" do they finally issue the cfo certificate.

I'd be interested in knowing the divorce rate for imported beaver from Phils. I'd guess it's around 80% based on what I've witnessed. Think about it? What LBFM beaver would have any interest in a man 30 years older than her other than his money. I know of one flip who filed for divorce as soon as the pre nup expired and took half his net worth. The reason I know is I was banging her even before she split up with the old geezer.
Are you kidding? In the Philippines, an attorney will take any case, no matter how nutzo, as long as they get their fees up front.
The attorney will lean more towards the side that will give him a bigger reward to close the case.

The odds of keeping imported Philippine beaver, Castor Philippinesis, in captivity for any significant length of time is about the same as the chance of being mauled by an orangutan and a silverback in the same day. Only poor guys with no assets to lose should attempt the importation of foreign beaver. Philippine beaver can be a very destructive species when released in the heavily wooded areas of the United States, Canada and Western Europe. Many elderly guys get more than they bargained for when they end up with a rabid beaver on their hands. The beaver's main aim is to migrate to areas rich in resources to provide for its family members. The beaver handler will be expected to feed the extended family or he will have to deal with an angry beaver.

Run away brides
i'm sure this type of story is told about women from every 3rd world country.
they marry just to get to america, then run away as soon as possible.
i was told the same thing about the korean woman that i was married to for 21 years. funny thing is, when we divorced, she chose to stay in korea.
statistics can be skewed any way the presenter wants to skew them. what may be true for one is not necessarily true for all. i would advise any many thinking of marrying a woman from any country outside of the us to not do it. not because of the possibility of her running. but because of how badly his bank account will be raped by the us government's fees for every immigration application required. it's better to take her through mexico, and let her sneak across the border with the rest of the illegal immigrants. maybe she will then get lucky and be granted amnesty by a politician wanting to look good.

Let me explane my feelings. I was with 3 women from dia I talked to 2 of them for 6 months they were 24, 31, and 39 years old. They all were great with sex I was suprised I thought younger would be better but all would do anything I ask and then some. I fell in love with the older one our personalitys matched we could talk for hours. Next time I was comming to Philippines I was going to ask her to marry me. I read many post here for a long time and you all helped me a lot so I respect what you tell me. Only 1 person was happy they marry. I will think hard about what you have told me about marriage. I love her and I think she loves me for me not my money I do not want to be hurt thanks for all your advice.

Thanks again,

Lets show some respect here please.
