You are probably correct about Chulalongkorn Univ, it's a tough nut to crack, but not impossible. I lived close to Siam Square for a couple of years and used to go with my GF to the book store in Siam Square regularly. I reported once not too long ago that Ram. U. has the reputation for having girls that will put out. But, remember, it is at the bottom rung of the ladder as far as unis go. Lots of bargirls and the like go there or have gone there to study. Anyone going there is decidely LoSo.

Based on the good advice and insight you generally provide I will assume that you are correct. I just see it from a little different point of view and that doesn't make me wrong. I am relying on what my girlfriend and her friends tell me about the Chula girls. Now granted, they don't have any first hand experience but they would know better than I. Also, I don't think many guys on the forum could afford a Chula girl. I know I couldn't. We aren't talking about a couple thousand baht. More like a new Rolex or a Mercedes. Some middle-aged Farang was approaching Bangkok University girls outside the back gate where most of the students enter. Several girls complained to security, who called the Lumpini police. The police box is just down the end of the street. So, police arrived immediately and took the guy into custody. Apparently he had to pay some fine and was warned in very strong terms to stay away from any university campuses. Perhaps the guy is a forum reader and was inspired by some of my earlier posts about dating students. In any event, I'm sure this is an obscure incident and not prevalent. I've never heard of anything else like this. Still, I don't think it's advisable to be obviously hanging around universities trying to score uni girls. Among a lot of Thais, Farang have a bad reputation. A number of foreigners asked me about the Nana area. They just walk around Sukhumvit road and can't seem to find it. (I was like that some years ago.) Hopefully, this map will help. It also lists the supermarkets and other entertainment areas, like soi 0, 1, 7, Eden Club, etc.

Above the new TOPS supermarket is a reasonably priced food court and sell pizzas by the slice on the ground level. Bier-Garten and Gullivers pub are also marked. Both are popular venues to pick up freelancer meat.

About Bier-Garten:

As the name suggests it's a German inspired place. Always busy after 12 noon and packed at night. The best time to go is between 12 noon and 2 pm. The light is still good, there are no crowds and you get a seat.

Drink prices are reasonable:Singha 70B, Heineken 80B, Chang 65B, Breezer 115B, Kloster 80B, Franzis&Weihen 95B, Cola 40B.

The place is open air and NOT airconditioned, there are only a lot of fans on the ceilings. It makes you drink more.

Colored lanterns hanging from the ceiling, there is a spirit altar in the back on the left side where all the girls worship before start work.They bring gifts such as clothes, money or jewellery to the two female guardian spirits residing in the old tree that is integrated into the building.

There are 4 bars but only 3 has service. 2 TV screens have programs like "Animal Planet" or sports. There is also a fountain in the back.

Food is available but not cheap. Of course German fare but also Thai and international. No pizzas as yet though. The attendants are polite and wear red shirts with black pants or shirt. Toilet is in the very far back. Cubicles are so small that very big men simply cannot fit in.

The quality of girls varies from day to day and is not that great in general.Therefore also it is a very competitive place. (I personally find it hard to score a good looker here, because there are so many guys.)

For the more attractive girls there is VERY BIG demand and they are well aware of this. There is usually some man who smiles more, chats better or pays more cash than you.

In quiet times like before 4pm a less attractive girl may go for 600B but at night prices go up, like 1000-1500 ST, I think.

For newbies, you can simply find nana hotel or nana gas station.
Nana parking lot is just behind nana gas station which is soi 4 opposite of NEP.

Regarding bier garten, I would not suggest this place if you are in your 30's or even 40's. For old people, this place would not that bad but for young people the ladies are quite old(usually ladies are in their 30's or late 20's but their looking is more like in their 30's and not that pretty either).

I read the discussion about hi-so, lo-so University girls with interest. I have MBA school mates who come from Thammasat and AIT and who study now abroad as well. All nice, decent people, well-educated, from rich families who are also politically connected. In conclusion - nice friends to have.

I think your assessment is pretty much way off the mark.

Two of my best fucks ever were Thammasat girls. Both BTW were business students and HiSo Thai-Chinese, as well. They would do anything and I mean anything! I wouldn't say either was particularly high maintenance in any way. Maybe you just picked the wrong ones or you simply don't know how to interract with real Thai women, and are more comfortable with 'pros'.

I would say that most Thai women that I meet, once I go through the requisite dating period (usually 1-2 months for me now, because I like to take my time) are pretty sexually adventurous and much more open than any Western woman I ever met and even some Thai hookers I've met. Sure, the world is not black and white, and exceptions prove the rule. My personal experience and believe after studying and working in Asia for years is that a woman's sexual "openness" depends to a large degree on her upbringing and social environment, and not much on the fact from which country she is from.

It's true that some Thai women, esp "nouveaux rich" that one might also find at RCA, Bed&Supper etc. are more adventurous (RCA is a notorious find and fuck place for Thais-to-Thais), but I don't consider people there as HiSo, they are similar to a certain type of tasteless and spoilt Eastern Europeans one can find in skiing resorts and boarding schools all over Western Europe these days. For me, HiSo is not just about money but also about the roots of upbringing in a sense of education, culture etc. Not a single one of my MBA Thai friends would go to for example RCA because they consider that a tasteless lo-class venue (so I'm going to that lo-class venue with middle-class people).

Concerning pro's: Hmm, maybe I have been lucky; I'm not into dark-skinned ladies, I have always found mixed type, be it half Thai/Chinese or half Filipina/Chinese. My definition of "pro" is also not confined to girls one might find at Nana or massage places; I consider mistresses as "pros" as well.
