Advice on travel days for a quick trip?
I'm tentatively scheduled to fly into SJO and will drive directly to Cocal (via rental car) for a 4 night stay, arriving Friday October 10 and flying home the afternoon of Tuesday October 14. My question is will Cocal be reasonably active this time of year on a Sunday and Monday evening? My other option would be to move up the trip by one day and arrive Thursday and return home Monday afternoon. Or maybe you might advise that even if Cocal is slow on a Sunday / Monday evening other bars in town (Beetle Bar?) are still plenty active and not to worry?
It's been about 10 years since I've been to Jaco, my first trip to Cocal, my first trip this time of year, and maybe I'm just over thinking things. Many thanks in advance for your advice.

[QUOTE=OneLuckyDogg;1654509]It all depends on what night you want to go. Most hotel have 3 different rates:
April 20 - Dec 18th is the green season rates. Rates are at their lowest.
Dec. 19th. Jan. 3 is the peak season rates are at their highest.
Jan. 4 - April 19th is the high season, rates are higher.
Note: Dec 18th. Jan. 3rd you will not be able to get a hotel in Jaco, chica or non-chica friendly for $80. Maybe $100.
