The 500 baht is to simply get out of the situation as smoothly as possible while saving everyone involved at least some measure of face (you may want to read up on that concept in Asian cultures.) Regardless, I don't have time to play the ""blame" game. The YMMV truism is particularly true in case of so called "freelancers" as opposed to a massage joint or even a go go where the girl has a nominal "boss".

You have no "rights" as a "paying customer" in the case of a complete dud when it's a Thermae girl or a girl you meet on the street, or in a nightclub.
It's a risk one takes, which is why the thinking monger usually tries to "feel the girl out" by talking to her a little bit.. instead of walking in, pointing, clicking and leaving.
In fact, most even do this at the go-gos, where you do have some recourse with the mgmt/mamasan.

For some reason, this hasn't quite occurred to you yet, but it will. Eventually. In the meantime we'll wait. Might be a very long time if you automatically label them "lazy and stubborn". I also didn't know that those personality traits were somehow more intrinsic to Thai or SEAsian girls.

People who live there or very regular visitors can build a stable of girls and probably get it for less. I will guess that despite the high prices, people still like BKK because of the infrastructure, and because of the still relatively wide array of options, despite the high prices as opposed to many other places. If you're going to Thailand just to fuck, aren't you better off going to Pattaya, anyways?

I'll take a crack at the "Thermae" deal question. IMO it's because of the old reputation of the place, and the simple fact that it's one of the very few places in BKK where you can still get the so called "freelancer" and many guys simply like that (let's be honest amongst ourselves) . "illusion"of talking a girl up at the bar, and taking her home as if she weren't a regular prostitute. LOL I may be guilty of that myself. But I have found non regular Thermae girls at Thermae several times with much success ensuing back in my hotel.

But ultimately, as I've said. I usually leave alone from there 90% of the time. (I also happen to agree with you about finding many of them not particularly attractive)

And yes, the current Asian "preferred" clientele have in fact "ruined"the place for "Westerners" as their cultural preferences in terms of how they want the girls to look and perhaps even more importantly act don't match ours. C'est la vie. That's why as a farang, I never go into Thermae expecting anything. I know going in it's not going to be my "vibe", period with that completely preposterous Asian monger circular walk around with the girls straining to look "cute and demure"" for the Japanese, Koreans and Chinese.

I keep a spray bottle of it in my shower. After sex, I wash by dick and balls with soapy water, rinse, then sometimes spray my dick and balls with the hydrogen peroxide, wash and rinse again. I have no idea if it works to protect me against anything but I haven't had any problems, infections or problems in decades, so there it is.

As an aside, I also pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide into a cup, add an equal amount of water, swish that solution around in my mouth, spit and rinse again before brushing my teeth 3-4 times a week. This was on the recommendation of my very good dentist many years ago. He said, "If everybody did this 3-4 times per week they would put us dentists out of business." Now, this part is very important: Don't do it EVERY day. Do it two days, skip a day, two days, skip a day and so on. We don't want to kill ALL of the bacteria in our mouths every day. Some of that bacteria is helpful and good for us. But I can say this, since I have been following that regime I have not had one problem with my teeth, no cavities, no infections, no toothaches and my exams/X-rays are all clear every time. For about 20-25 years so far.

Maybe the same thing is happening with my dick and balls due to that regime.

Since it is 3% there is no need to dilute even for mouthwash. It supposedly takes care of bad bacteria, virus, keeps everything smelling good and great for the skin. People have know to spray fire into the throat to fix colds and even asthma & stuff. Unfortunately my last trip my bottle finished off before my trip was done because of excessive "activity" haha. And I did not trust any of the local brands & frankly did not put in any effort to find a good brand.

I have always had a problem with the service of Asian providers much unlike many other punters who seem to have no problem. From my experience Asian girls just can't seem to take a good pounding. I have had way too many complaints of pain, etc. in Asia compared to other destinations in Latin America, Europe and even the States. Different flavors of Asians tend to be different. I've found Indo gals to be about the best and Cambodians to be among the worst. But for the most part the gals I was with in the US and Latin America before I moved to Asia were far better, nastier, and a lot more fun. I think men in the West are just more demanding than Asian dudes. Thailand's appeal was the gals were plentiful and cheap. Can't beat a ST for 12.50 to 25 USD, which is what it was when I moved over. And for the most part, that is what many are still worth in my mind because the service overall has not improved. My strategy for motivating the girls to treat me well is to explain my tipping policy in advance: "Good service, good tip. Great service, great tip. Fantastic service, fantastic tip! But: bad service, no tip!" Even if she doesn't know much English she will usually understand those simple words. If she doesn't get it, it may be the word "tip" she doesn't know, in which case I change it to "money". Sometimes I include actual sums, thus "incredible tip" might mean that I double her pay (in practice I rarely (but sometimes!) pay that much). I find this approach often works wonders, and usually I end up with good service. It's almost as if they enjoy the clarity and the challenge of trying to reach as high as possible on a reasonably clear linear scale. Every now and then one of them will be hell-bent on achieving the grade "fantastic", and that can lead to some nice things. My system reduces risk for them, as sometimes they will give a guy fantastic service and he will give them a mediocre tip. With me, they know what the options are (both the good and the bad). I also find we usually end up with a reasonably good understanding between us after the deed, in the sense that they often seem to agree with the level of tip I end up giving within that framework. This is basically new public management. Many people hate it, but those are often people who don't really want to work hard and therefore dislike things that make them work hard. But many working girls are more than happy to work hard if they know that they will be rewarded fairly.
