i posted a two-part report on oct 17th, 2010 re: my three months in cebu. i appreciate all the positive feedback, with several fellow isg members here saying my report exactly mirrored their experiences in cebu. also, a few members confirmed that my experiences with amanda blair and her mother were the same as the other members' experiences with them.
one aspect of my report provoked much commentary: my comments on jade. some members have asked for additional comments and clarification. so i'm responding to their requests herewith.
jade was recommended by another isg member -- a wonderful, helpful fellow, whom i like very much. he has a vested interest in jade and can't be objective: she is a wing-woman for him and helps him recruit tons of pussy. he is a marketing agent for her, wrote her dia and cb profiles, reads her incoming messages, and writes her outgoing messages. to the several members who commented here how her profile is too well-written to be true, now you know, it was written by an elite-level foreign man, not be herself.
jade had a std when introduced to me. someone asked for std details. i had no sexual contact with anyone for two weeks, then had sex with jade's friend about a week before i got symptoms, and jade 2 days before i got symptoms (burning [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url]). gonorrhea symptoms usually appear in 2 - 5 days. we got jade's friend checked within days and she was cleared. jade had been diagnosed with a std and was on medication and a doctor-advised abstinence from sex when she met me. the guy who made the introduction apologized to me after i contracted the std, saying he'd told jade to tell me she had it, and he now regretted leaving it up to her to tell me herself, and wish he had told me. yea, i wish he'd told me too that he was introducing me to an infected girl!
jade's doctor and mine diagnosed the std as gonorrhea based upon symptoms, timeline, etc. it could have been chlamydia or some other std, or a combination. my diagnosis was based upon blood and [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109][CodeWord109][/url] tests; i didn't have a swab from my urethra as the doctor said it's painful and not necessary, since the treatment she gave me would treat both gonorrhea and chlamydia. the treatment worked.
jade, i, and my doctor thinks she gave me gonorrhea via a bbbj. jade and her promoter / introducer have both apologized to me for not having informed me of her infected condition prior to her giving me the bbbj.
the std details above are provided only because some members wanted the details. actually, the std isn't the main point of my original posting. my main point was to share some details -- both good and bad -- of my first three months in cebu / ph.
overall, jade has been the worst value of the 9 - 10 girls i've been with over what is now four months in ph, mostly cebu. she has cost the most money, time, aggravation, and emotional investment, both in absolute terms and measured on a cost per sexual encounter basis. as i recall, my original report didn't say to avoid jade at all costs. it said that personally disagree with one guy's attempt to position her as an elite gf / marriage prospect. and i recommended not getting taken in, as i did, providing jade with larger sums to help with school and living expenses. as a standard st or overnight provider for 500 - 1,000p she might be a satisfactory provider for someone.
i think exchanging opinions about girls / providers is largely what these forums are about. i mentioned amanda blair and her mother by name, and a few other members here chimed in that they, too, were aware of, or victims of, amanda and her mother's dia-based business of scamming foreign men. similarly, i mentioned my appraisal and my experiences with jade, and others chimed in about her pre-fabricated profile.
update: jade has apologized to me for her various transgressions in person and via texts about 20 times. she offered no-cost additional visits to me to compensate me. so it's moot and very silly for any of her boosters to try to deny my reports here when, in fact, she, herself, has admitted her "many mistakes", and offered to make things right. that said, days after she and i met and she apologized and offered to make things right -- she and her roommate sent me desperate, dramatic pleas for money to pay their rent, new medical emergencies, etc.
i stand by my original posting: jade has been the worst value of the 9 - 10 girls i've been with over what is now four months in ph, and maybe the worst value over my 25 years of being with girls in asia, including 19 years living in asia. but for others with different standards or expectations than i have, maybe your experience will be different. good luck.

Regarding ISG members who "recommend" and have a "vested interest" in girls. As anyone who visits Peru knows, I try to help any ISG member who wants to be "fixed up". I donīt make a cent, and refuse freebies from the chicas. If I spend time with a girl, I pay the same as anyone. I do this because ISG members are always helpful to me on my trips and I want to give something back, and because pimping (making money off of girls) is illegal in Peru although prostitution is legal. I also have a certain amount of pride and better things to do with my time than pretend to be a girl on DIA.
IMHO any ISG member who might be using this forum to make money or get free sex from girls is a scumbag. If there are members who are manipulating newbies into breaking the cardinal rule of mongering; i.e. NEVER PAY IN ADVANCE OR SEND MONEY BEFORE A VISIT, in order to advance their standing with the girls or get laid free of charge, I think they should be shunned. This is only my tactless opinion and others may differ.
As anyone who has visited Cebu knows, there is NO REASON TO ASK ANYONE TO FIX YOU UP. There are girls all over the place. Even for an extremely lazy, overweight, bald and unBradPittlike person such as myself, there are too many girls and too little time.

By the way GEN, GO can have a icubation period up to 2 weeks. It is unusaual, but happen to me and my urologist told me that this is fairly possible also.

Getting even a poorly-paid university post isn't easy. First, you will need a work visa, and, since you will be hired in lieu of a local, that might not be a simple task. Second, the colleges--especially the public sector schools--are so strapped for cash that they rarely increase the size of their faculties. You might latch on as an adjunct faculty member with a private college, like Ateneo, which has richer students, charges higher tuition, and has more money.
If you do get some sort of teaching position, be prepared for the dramatic differences in student preparation, teaching styles and class sizes. I did a couple of seminars here at the request of a local Dean whom I know, and concluded that I could never teach here. The students are young, ignorant and placid, used to copying everything that comes from the mouth of the teacher, but not accustomed to actually thinking, much less participating. I found it extremely frustrating, but you may be more tolerant than I.
You might be better off looking for a position with one of the many foreign consulting firms working in the Education sector here, usually under one or another bilateral or multilateral development program. USAID, JICA, AusAid, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank all fund projects here, some of them in Education.

Hey GE, good to hear from you again. I think the school I would go to is private. I have an in with someone there but am investigating. I know what you mean about not thinking for themselves. That's why education in the US is better than so many other countries. People learn to be independent. If I have any luck with this, I'll post it.

I think they get there jobs in the US. Funny thing is I've done both IT outsourcing and have run smaller call centers in the usa....very different work for me. I would consider going there to project management software or internet projects done by local talent (and see if they are talented in other ways or know others that are (-; ) for US businesses that need work done offshore. Anyone know people that work freelance with American clients that do "offshore service work" with Filipinos?
Of course there are a lot of companies, but seems like there are a lot of opportunities for freelance. Heck, if one had a background with transcribing at hospitals, they could go to Cebu and be the middle-person...that's all done offshore now as well.

GE gave you good advice, but i think you want to think seriously about WHY you want to actually live here.
If you think being employed in education will give you "opportunities" to meet lots of willing women and possibly take advantage of them then you have the wrong professional mindset and you will get seriously burned here.
There is way too much tsismis (gossip) about everything here and anything you do or say will leak out and destroy your "reputation" (as it should).
If you want to come here just to be with other broken-down and broke (skint or penniless except on pension day) guys whose main joy is in a bottle then that's another story. There are a few of them around to keep you happy.
