I got a few times in Cartagena girls asking for money for the cab ride back home, and of course the cost they ask for is very inflated, I've never gotten that anywhere. Do you get that in Medellin?

Thank you.[/QUOTE]You can make it clear to them that the taxi and tip are one in the same. Or you can separate it. I would refuse tip before I refuse taxi. They really do see the ride home as an extra expense not included in their charge. Even my "free" regular girls always ask me for taxi. If a girl likes you or knows you she will cover the cost of taxi getting to you, but then ask you to pay her back. The "normal" is for her to message you when she arrives, and expect you to run down and pay the driver. If they are being straight up with you, then they should be more than happy to accept an Uber or Didi ride home from you, which will invariably be cheaper. Also, if you get a feel for the lay of the land, you should have an ideal how much their ride will cost. 80% of taxi rides are under 80 mil COP here from Estadio-Laureles which is centrally located in the city. If my chica is pushing it to the far edge of Bello the ride can approach 50 mil COP. Another reason I like Uber so much is that then you have their address or at least where they went to in case something goes haywire, like they stole something from you, but I have never had to use that. In fact, you can use Uber just to get a price quote to where she says she is going, and then give her 10-20% more since taxis are usually, but not always, more expensive. Some girls are afraid of Uber or Didi because there are isolated incidents of violence and rape from drivers, but those drivers are usually stupid and get caught because the ride is registered. But that is why she and when you ride should always confirm that the license plate matches the ride. A couple of years ago the biggest crime against tourists were fake out Uber rides who would kidnap you, and take you an ATM, and kill you if you did not cooperate. My last trip here, I was sending 90% of my girls home on Uber or Didi and it saved me some money. But Uber and Didi have been hard to find this trip especially late at night. And don't be surprised if you see her getting into a private vehicle when you did not call for Uber. A lot of the chicas are using a specific "friend" to get rides for safety and her way of spreading the wealth to people she likes. Now you know everything I know about chicas and taxis, jajaja. But there are not many places in Medellin, no matter where you live, where you would have to pay more than 50 k for return takis. In my experience the girls don't hang at the casa all day.

I haven't read anyone here who is more accepting and tolerant of how other people find there way in this crazy game than me. I try to never suggest what people should or should not do, unless it's a matter of personal safety.

From a practical standpoint, my posts are some of the most useless posts here because I don't do the things and go to the places most of the others mongers do. But for those who take the time to read, there are pearls guys can use if they want to in almost all my posts. Collecting all the important info that I need while I wait for my passport. Will be my first time venturing outside the US and planning a 2 week trip. If all goes as planned, I'll have a chica waiting for me for each day haha. I thought Ostee's backdoor post was to much information, yet yours is as well, at least for me, hence I'm in the minority here.
