I hear comments, complaints really, about being turned off by Thai girls with a boring lack of confidence in the room only from the guys I know who honestly do look like they could get hot girls for free but never from the guys who don't look like they could.

No need to be rich. In my opinion its pretty easy to see what a society deems attractive, just look at their media. What do the guys look like on TV, in advertisemennts and shows. They all watch their Thai drama series. Most of the big Bangkok TV stars who Thai girls find hot are in their 20's and early 30's, not over 60. The other thing Thai girls watch are cartoons to help them improve their English. Guess Thai girls will become accustomed to like the human version of Doraemon.

There is far less potential upside for a P4P girl to give attention and great service to a man she perceives as physically attractive enough not to really need her attention to get well laid and laid by girls at least as good looking as her if not better looking than to a man who in her eyes and estimation would feel lucky as hell and eternally grateful for the chance to be alone in the same room with her.

Now, the least attractive girls in a bar or any venue will go after a good looking man without hesitation or worry about being publicly rebuffed because they are used to being publicly rebuffed and most onlookers would expect it anyway. No surprise.

But the better looking girls have more fragile egos and are taking a rare and, frankly, unnecessary risk of losing Face by making a big play for a man who might turn up his nose at her approach when she could take the safer route instead.

The way this particular topic applies here, I suppose, is don't automatically assume a hot girl in a venue ignoring your attention and focusing on another dude has anything to do with you not being as physically attractive as him. Lol. It could very well be more like the opposite of that.

Its Korean pop stars in their late teens / twenties not some aging farang but check out where their money comes from and its customers in their fifties up. Two different worlds. First is their fantasy second is their reality, its what they do for a living, its work.

When it comes to work they don't like bad hygiene, if you are too inebriated and those identified with a reputation for being overly demanding or aggressive. I feel they don't differentiate on age. In fact I have heard more than once a lot don't like young guys because of the nonstop pounding they get unlike granddad who likes to take it slow and easy. Also don't believe a high BMI or being folically challenged makes a lot of difference. For sure how you look, grooming, dress, having a smile, a twinkle in your eye and look like you are enjoying yourself goes a long way but a 3000 baht offer for her time supersedes all of that.

In short it's true they have their preferences and if they have choices they will pick and choose. If not they will close their eyes and dream of their Korean idol as they go through the motions with whoever is paying.

Interesting thought experiment and the logic seems sound on the surface. However, in reality, I definitely do NOT see more hot working girls making a big play for me now than did back when I was 10-15 years younger and 20 kg lighter.

I noticed no difference in how the girls responded compared to prior visits.

Thai girls claim to think (slim) Western women are the most beautiful because they tend to possess most of the attributes on the Thai girls' beauty wish list; taller, bigger boobs, lighter skin, lighter hair, blue eyes, etc. And they all seem to believe we Farang men were used to having the best of them before we landed in Thailand. LOL. Whether or not they could "measure up" to those standards has been brought up with me more times than I can count in the past 7 years. Based solely on the fact that I am a Farang.

Remember, it isn't really about which customer they think is physically attractive to them but more about who they think is or isn't accustomed to having better than them and possibly even for free.

I'm guessing that particular concern about a target customer having been with so many Western women is rarely if ever a consideration in the mind of the hotter girls who work in "Asian Only" clubs, the go-go bars where Asian customers are much preferred, Thermae and the like.
