I was over at Macau for 8 days. 5 of which was with my company all 24 hours so I was unable for exploring. The next few days I spent an entire day (yes, over 15 hours) at 18, then another day at Rio, explored Darlings, and also Boss.

I know only 40% of Mandarine from living in China and I am Chinese.

Can't say enough for 18 and Rio, so I won't.

Boss Sauna I've never been. I went at 3 pm and the place had like 5 other guys. Went, took off clothes and the guy asked if I wanted a scrub down. I said later. I wanted to explore and see what the place had to offer before paying for anything.

Changed into black and dragon-patterned shorts and robe. Pretty ok and standard. Went to the Rest Area and discovered I was one of like 3 guys. Very empty and impersonal. Sat down and got asked what I'd like. The waitresses DON'T speak English or Mandarin. What the heck? They only spoke Cantonese. Don't know why. Communication was difficult and I gotta say I felt avoided the entire duration of my stay. Didn't know what to do as I waited for over 2 hours. The staff at that time talked to eachother in their native language: either Thai,Vietnamese or Malaysian. Felt it was noisy from their chatter and very unprofessional on their part.

Went to the front and asked to see lineup. I did. UNimpressive. It was exactly 14 girls. No European, no nothing. I'd say 10 were Vietnamese and 4 were Chinese. No Korean or Mongolian or Model Qualities as advertised. This was at 5:30 or so. I'd say all were 5s or so. I wanted to choose none of the above if my language communication was available. Perhaps the Mandarin or English attendant didn't start work until evening. It's hard to imagine a reputable Sauna having communication problems.

Sex was terrible. Must say I was disappointed throughout and left the room after 30 out of the allowed 90 minutes. Won't get into that.

Went out, had food, more drinks, and a thigh massage. Thigh Massage is highly recommended. Fun and cheap (for 100MOP). Ok, had arm massage, wonderful. Had head massage, wonderful. Good good good.

Place: Ok if you want to stay for 3 or so hours. Not recommended for overnight or longer. The people there were mostly Cantonese and the sense of being at a nice Sauna was not there. I very much thought the place sucked.

Food: The food should be ok if you like noodles and rice. The menu was in all Chinese so I had no idea what was what. I ordered pointing and got food. I'd give it a medium score but really, not too good or below average.

Service: I thought the people here were unprofessional and talked too much (to eachother). The place was just booming with TV and their chatter. They spoke no English and no Mandarin or no nothing. I speak English, French, a little Mandarin, and some Japanese. No good at all here. Poor to horrible score for me.

Sex Service: I'd not recommend. But hey, I was here from 3 to 7 so maybe the good ones come at 9 pm or later. I don't know. I did not see model quality or ok quality Chinese girls. Most were Vietnamese or Thailand. They were ok looking and skinny and petite. But my Vietnamese spoke only Cantonese and we had a difficult time communicating. She spoke no Mandarin or French. Trust me, it's hard to do anything here.

Sauna, Bath services, other massage services: good and very good. Cheap and very good service. I'd highly recommend. These were fun. No sex expected, but hey, they really play with your balls and hard-on.

Overall, I'd say Boss at the 22nd floor is ok for massage stuff. Sex just to bang and go is ok too. If you want a nice Sauna experience and feel like a member of the VIP club and have the girl give you a sex massage and all, this is NOT the place. Not for me anyhow.

I wondered what the Shanghai Massage was. I asked but got an answer I did not understand.

The $100 stuff are fun too. Pedicure, Manicure, Head Massage, Arm Massage, and Thigh Massage are all $100 each.

The $168 scrub washdown is fun too.

Funny thing about the food. No English version on the menu. But ok, I did know a bit of Chinese and I pointed. I knew for sure what one thing was, pointed to it, and got something I've never seen before. Ate it anyway. I ordered like 4 things on the menu and wasn't impressed. The Pork Sandwich was good though. Macau is famous for its Pork Sandwich (on French bread).

Another thing is the lineup girls. I didn't know the procedure here, so I waited 2 hours. I felt the staff somewhat avoided me since it was clear I did not speak Cantonese. I spoke Mandarin. Plus it was daytime 3 to 5 so I assumed no girl came to work yet. I don't know. Some info from the staff and a tiny apology would be appreciated.
Next time I go back, and that's a big IF, I'd ask the Thais and Vietnamese girls to not be in the lineup. I would just ask for the Chinese or Model or Korean ones. but goodness, the lineup I saw bordered on the unfukable.



Sorry, but I'd return for a lot of services Boss offers. As for the 888 massage for 90 minutes from a Thai or Vietnamese offer, I'll pass with headshake.

When I was there (on a Saturday night after 1 am), there were 3 or 4 Russian women there. They looked about the same as the ones you might see in 18 (i.e. pretty hot, but their attitude is stone cold). Although, when I followed the staff into the room to meet my (Chinese model) girl, one of the Russian girls hanging around the desk looked at me and grunted "How are yooo?" Kind of funny. Maybe wouldn't be too bad, but honestly, I think the selection/attitude of Europeans is better in HK/Wanchai, with the bar girls.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. When I went (see above), all of the waitresses spoke enough English to communicate, as did the people coming around asking for the services (massages, pedicures, etc). The only problem I had was with the mama/papasans, who didn't want to talk to me. Also, in my lineup, it was mostly Chinese girls, with only 2 or 3 SE Asians. I would guess you just went at a bad time and got a bad experience. Good luck in the future.

I was in Macau/HK a few weeks back and popped in for a few sauna sessions. It was my second trip to Macau and I'll post my comparison of Sauna 18 and Rio later, but here's a preliminary review of last year’s trip.

After reading about Sauna 18 on this board, last November I tried it out for the first time. I bought a package ticket at Shun Tak for my first venture, though I wouldn't necessarily suggest doing that now. It doesn't seem like much of a discount and having to go get a return ticket from the booth in Macau didn't seem like much less of a hassle than just buying a ticket on demand. Be forewarned, at peak times like Sunday nights, the ferries get booked solid and there can be multi-hour waits. For this reason alone, I prefer leaving my return options open.

The Golden Dragon Hotel is easy to find, about 10mins walking from the ferry terminal. If you walk away from the terminal toward the main casino area, you'll inevitably see the Golden Dragon sign looming on the right. When I got to the hotel, I actually wasn't sure I was in the right building, but the signs with scantily clad girls and the helpful desk girl straightened it out quickly.

Up the elevator and into the sauna I went. I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable with undressing in front of the male staff, but what the hell, the reviews were so good I had to see what it was all about.

So wearing my towel and my key bracelet, I wandered into the pool/jacuzzi room and there were the "shower seats". It was a fairly busy time, quite a few people in the pool, wandering around, etc, but there was an open shower seat and a cute Indonesian girl beckoned me over. Kind of unsexy to see another dude getting showered (aka handjob) in a chair about 20 feet away, but once the girl started working, I didn't have a care in the world. It turns out the shower seat thing is actually one of my favorite things about Sauna 18, I've considered just doing that over and over!

Anyway, for the first part of the wash up you're sitting naked facing the wall in a padded stool/chair thing with the back rest at your chest. The chair sort of looks like a U-shaped toilet seat, open at the bottom/front for nearly full body scrub access by the girl. She hoses you down with warm water, rubs you down, soaps you up, rubs you down, rinses you off a few more times and then flips the chair around for another round of soap/rinse happiness. The best part is the special lather/squeegee time given to mr happy and other fun-to-clean places. Thoroughly enjoyable and worth a trip just for this!

So after the scrub you're free to roam around, go in the sauna, sit in the hot or not-so-hot jacuzzis. The bigger jacuzzi is huge, like a shallow swimming pool. I'm not a big fan of actual saunas, so I took a dip in the hot tub for a few minutes and watched the Showtime.

Showtime starts off with one or more girls pole dancing on a balcony about 20 feet off the ground. Lights, music, the girls go topless. Quite nice to watch, but further away than the standard strip club. Then the huge parade of girls winds its way into the pool area for perusal, the line doubling back for closeups. There are always a few european girls at the front of the parade, followed by the "superstar" asian girls, followed by various color-code-by-country asian girls. At the end of the line is a midget riding an elephant. Just kidding, they're all fairly attractive, some more than others. You're free to choose one (by tag number) at any Showtime or go relax in the lounge area.

I opted for the lounge. I wandered over the lounge-robe area and a cute little girl threw down some dry towels and dried me off. Another semi-uncomfortable moment for the first-timer, I'm standing there fully nude with a cute girl in a bikini drying me off and the male staff are sort of gawking while she flops mr happy around and uses a tissue for the final touch. They give you some paper-thin shorts and a robe and a pair of plastic sandals and ask for a tip. I’ve always given her a small token, she’s pretty cute.

I didn’t know exactly what to do in the lounge, but apparently there are some internet-enabled computers and you can order food. The staff motioned toward an open lounge chair and I kicked back and ordered a hot tea. Not long after, a medium attractive woman came by and asked if I wanted a thigh massage. I thought, what the hell, might feel good. It turned out much better than expected! She covered my lap area with a towel, applied the requisite lotion and started massaging my leg. Eventually her hands went up my shorts further and further and eventually I was essentially getting a hand job under a towel, sitting there in a big plush chair right out in the open with everyone else probably getting the same. For the first-timer, that was a bit unnerving at first to be getting stroked in public but who can resist a hand job? Again, after a few seconds, I didn’t have a care in the world. The lady worked her magic without going too far and by the time it was over I was ready for the Showtime to begin as soon as possible! I actually enjoy the "thigh massage" about as much as any other part of the sauna experience. If there is one add-on option to choose, choose the thigh massage!

So the next Showtime arrived and I chose a Vietnamese girl. I didn’t know she was Vietnamese, only learned that later. I just opted for a non-superstar, non-european with a cute face and some nice curves. I ended up coming back to Sauna 18 again a few days later, such was my enjoyment of the adventure, and the second girl was much better than the first (tag numbers lost in the fogginess of time).

After choosing the girl, I went back to the lounge to wait until she was ready, and eventually the staff led me downstairs into the catacombs of sex. Basically like a big love hotel, corridors filled with sex rooms. Inside the room was ok, kind of dark and there was porn on the tv. Eventually the girl arrived and proceeded to table shower me, BBBJ in the shower, dried me up and we went to the bed room.

Being my first time, it was fantastic, later to be eclipsed by subsequent visits. The table shower beat any I’ve had in Vegas AMPs, even if the girl was somewhat robotic. The sex was mediocre, I could tell she wanted to get it over with and get back to the next Showtime. After it was over, she said I was "too big" and she likes smaller-hung guys, but she also said I was nicer to her than another American who was also too big and made her mouth hurt. Strange conversation in broken english. She didn’t do any of the fire/ice tricks or anything, but being the first time, it was still worth it.

A few days later I went back to Sauna 18 and this time the girl was much better. One particularly wonderful aspect was her table shower routine. It started off like the last one, soaped up, rinsed, then while I was still on my belly, she stood back by my feet. She started making soft moaning noises, took my foot in her hands and started sucking on my freshly washed toes. It was unbelievable, she sucked each toe and then sucked on all of my toes at the same time. Repeated with the other foot, taking her time. It was so weird and erotic that I didn’t really know what to do with myself. Then she started kissing up my legs, alternating back and forth until she reached my ass. I was thinking. In this particular sauna, you wait in the lounge while they get all the girls out and parade them in front of you. As is standard practice, the colour of the tags indicates their claimed nationality. (You will soon see why I use the qualifier "claimed"). Green for vietnam, red for Japan etc.

I personally highly doubt they have J dolls in Macau, so....who knows where they they get their "j-dolls" from?

For 1387MOP, I chose no. 2177, a slender and pretty chick, sold as Korean, but as I later discovered, is actually something else. Height about 160cm (her slender shape makes her appear a lot taller), shoulder length hair, has a Korean face (but is not), enhanced B-cups, early 20's. She clearly could not understand very rudimentary korean expressions, and sensing my suspicions about this, she became uneasy (and I reckon she thought I might make trouble over this, but I didn't). She absolutely refused to tell me where she comes from. Later, when she felt more at ease with me, and after asking many times, she eventually relented and told me she's Mongolian.

Started with a soap up in the shower room. She had me sit on a specially designed leaning shower chair not unlike the one described by mugux below, where she cleaned me up. She did not wash herself or slide herself on me. Moved into the bedroom which was very clean but compact. It consisted of a low mattress (without bedframe?) flush against a wall, based on a polished timber floor.

Went to Darling 1 today and 18 last week. Found that the package price has gone up by around HK$300 compared to 3 months ago. Worth buying the package from Shun Tak before you board the ferry. Otherwise you end up paying around HK$2000.

Generally they are cleaner than the street girls. Of course there are always chances of catching something if there is no protection. I notice that most of them rinse their mouths with Listerine before and after BBBJ.

I once spent some time with a girl from the Millionaires Sauna at the Beverley Hotel, and she had to do blood tests on a periodic basis. Just playing it safe is the best way to go, condoms have been proven to be effective in preventing the transmission of STD's. Well, except for pubic lice which I picked up once at a 141 place in Hong Kong.
