BTW, CB the second chick looks very hot, and worth doing a lot of air miles to get her.

I was planning on being in Minsk this month, but unfortunately I don't think I will be able to. So it looks like I have to wait till the fall.

Last time I did Minsk wasn't very exciting on the route that I took.

Flew on Ryanair from London to Kaunas, Lithiania (Now I know why the American pilot refused to be relocated there. Called it "Like Siberia".

On the bus from there to Minsk.

Second day I thought I landed in Heaven. Was a bit drunk, and just went up to group of students, and got chatting to the most beautiful blonde in the group.

Met her and her very attractive friend at west World Club at midnight. 10 minutes later, she was DFK ing me on the dance floor.

Here is me in the wrong half o my 40s (Look about a decade younger, full head of hair, dyed, thank you Just for men) being french kissed in public by a 20 something beautiful student. Thank you Tanya.

Anyways it turns out that they weren't hookers, but merely students, spoke very good English.

BTW, I was hoping they were doing tricks, so I save time and cut corners.

And bless them, when I told them that I am a Meat Guy, from my days working in and around Texas, but I don't like the meat cuts in Minsk. They took me to a g a very nice place called Byblos. A good choice of veggie options, and good atmosphere.

We went out the 3 of us to some nice places, including Madisson.

I do love clubs. I spent a lot of my time in clubs on both sides of the Atlantic.

And this hepled me on the dance floor in Mnsk Club. LOL.

My 2 beautiful students were impressed by my movements and rythem, so they said. Took me down memory lane.

Quite honestly, if I wasn't under the influence of few Vodkas and beers, I don't think I would have ever got the chance to have met Tanya & Ajia.

When I was holidaying in Eilat Israel, one girl told me, that no wonder I liked Minsk, because even their Foreign Minister Avigdor Libermann (Born in Moldova) , loves to spend his holidays in Belarus, and not Moldova. She said this with a wink.

My 2 students in Minsk told me their holiday options are very limited overseas to places, like Egypt, Turkey, Israel. And may be Cyprus.

Mant girls from Moldova and few from Belarus work the Clubs in Both parts of Cyprus.

So it does explain why Turks and Arabs from some countries in the Middle East. Head to Minsk.

Besides, I understand a lot of hotels and casinos are owned by them. Belarus must be the best place for Money Laundering. And they don't have difficulty in Visa Issues.

Next time I want to do Minsk is by flying to Poland, and Cross over from Bialystok Poland To Brest. Stay few days in both places, before heading to Minsk by Bus.

Both Bialystok poland, and Brest Belarus are not on the tourist trail, and sound more exciting, than crossing over from Lithuania.

Any update on Brest.

I got a Visa from The Belarussian Embassy in London. I had to show them the Hotel Booking Voucher, and I think the Return Airline Ticket.

But you couldn't extend it, if you wanted.

Hotel Planeta did the registration for me. So I imagine the hotel that I will be staying at in Brest will be doing the same.

My one time staying in an Apartment post Berlin wall was in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Never again in that place, and avoid that city.

I've been informed that 5 day rule is valid for the foreigner who are traveling in BL also. My BL friends told me, with in 5 day, if I plan to stay longer, I need to report Police department with an official document clearly shows where I live. When I asked how I will prove my date of arrival, they said with bus, train ticket. But I have no idea if I go there with a private car, how this system will work. Still I am searching exact info, when I get, I will update you guys.

At the BL Embassy in London, I just needed to show them the hotel booking Voucher for hotel Planeta in Minsk. The exact days booked, and the date when I arrived.

Didn't need to show them the Air Return Ticket to Kaunas, Lithuania.

From Vilnius I went by Bus to Minsk. No problem at all at the border.

I had this place on my mind for a long time. Today I see our friend Fawie has updated info on this town Bendery in Transdinster, in the Moldova Thread.

I Took the Liberty of copying and pasting it. See what you think of it as an alternative to Minsk.

Monday (was vacation day here) : wake up at 11 am, cafe plus croissant at a cafe terrace, bill 12 €. Stroll and suntanning at the Louvre Gardens during two hours. Shopping to La Maison du Chocolat (high-end stuff) where I buy her as a gift some chocolate truffes, cost 28 €. Then stop in a cafe, one omelette for two and a bottle of rosé at the terrace, bill 34 €. Taxi to her hotel 10 €. Her bus leaves at 3 pm to Nice and then Italy. Long kiss goodbye. Cost of the weekend: around 280 €. She sent an sms from the bus to say that she will be grateful forever for this weekend that was the most wonderful of her life.

As a side note: what great women Russian women are. I have been to Paris many times, and I know that there are loads of places where good bargains and good times can be had at reasonable prices.
