I can relate to your apprehension as it was not so long ago that I walked in your same shoes, so here's some friendly advise: Try weaning yourself gently into the scene on the hill by starting from the top and working your way down. From Sortino's, on the main road, heading toward the fire station, climb the stairs then take a right at the top. This puts you at a beter advantage to survey the scene without it feeling like a gaunlet.

Go down that hill knowing that so long as there is lust in your loins and won for speding in your wallet you are the king of the hill as far as every service provider is concerned. So take a breath here and there, linger a bit, leave the ball in their court, let them try to entice the won out of you for a change. And most of all ignore all those ignoramus caucasians there for drinks and guffaws with the buds - their jarheads who don't know shit from shineola.

I headed out to Miari last week with Seoulstice. I've not been there for a year or so. I started going to Yongsan RLD during my visits since it is closer to town where I stay.

If my memory serves, it seems that a few years ago the hit rate in Miari was close to 40% accepting foreigners. This time, I would say it was less than 20%. We did manage to have good sessions in spite of the lower acceptance rate. I found the quality of girls that accept foreigners in Miari is far better than I find in Yongsan RLD. And, the girl seemed far less in a hurry in comparison. I suppose it is worth the extra distance to travel.

Actually I think someone else (you?)called her that, and she now tells the story as a bit of a semi-serious, ironic joke. Indeed, she has looked a little ragged lately on occasion, but that sort of comes with the territory of drinking and demonstrating a flair for the particular form of good time demanded by the punter(s), who may be 'difficult' and demanding in ways with which the SP isn't entirely comfortable but "can't" turn away because of the $ - either the unusual size of the proffered tip and/or her own financial needs of the moment. An experience or two like that can wear her down and make her a lot less inclined to play along, and more disposed even to watch the clock, especially where a follow-up punter is looking for the economy package after she's had an enormous and/or onerous, payday from some fool/prick (I actually met a guy recently by chance in a bar who seemed to be both and who bragged about having bagged her for 3.5 million for only a couple of hours). Fortunately, when I saw her the other day, she seemed to have recovered from her latest unsavory experience(s), whatever it was/they were, and she was looking and acting her former smokin and GFE self. I've always found her to be very firm about who, what, where and when she will and won't do - what you describe as egotistical - everyone is entitled to that. And when her agenda and mine didn't mesh, I just go elsewhere. No point in getting your joint out of joint about it. JM2C

If anyone is interested, then feel free to scroll down and read it because I'm really curious as to why I got rejected at the Apple. I think the fact that I'm Asian (half Japanese half Korean) puts me at a disadvantage at Hooker Hill.

Has anyone checked out Cheongnyangni RLD lately? Since around early or mid of October, half of the glass rooms on the left side of the RLD have been covered up with a huge sheet (these sheets are used for construction purposes). I checked it out again today and the section on the left side that was covered with a huge sheet was completely demolished. There was like no building there anymore. And about 2 or 3 glass rooms in front of it where also partially destroyed. I also saw bunch of huge metal pipes near the demolished area. It looks like the place is finally going to disappear.

It's unclear that you got "rejected" at Apple. From your account, it seems possible that Mamasan/Papasan were simply letting you know they had no one available to service you. Inna is a notorious alcoholic, and may have been on 'hiatus", as the say. And as far as I know, there are no other SPs @ Apple nowadays.

Anyway, fall down three times, get up four. If you really want to check out Inna - and for your goal of titty fucking, she's a very good bet and one that can be had at a reasonable price and with whom one can have a lot of fun (provided she's reasonably sober) - then just go back and see if she's available.

As for the other issue, I think it's mostly in your own head. If you can pass as Japanese, especially, you shouldn't have any trouble at all on the Hill. Many of the girls prefer the Japanese even to Caucasians because, apparently, they are easier to satisfy, generally pay a whole lot more and, if not exactly more polite, are a lot less aggressive than most of us Big Noses. Most of them are very wary of local, native Koreans - and Western kyopos -- though, so it's generally a good idea to disabuse them of the perception that you are by speaking English or in your case Japanese (to get across the idea that you're not another local Korean or Western Kyopo.)

As for walking into a juicy bar already full of guys, hell, even I would pass if there were more than just one or two - even though I generally have the effect of getting other people to leave without having to do much of anything except take the room :) -- since if I'm going to a juicy bar on my own (rather than on a planned outing with a friend or two) I'm not interested in spending my time bullshitting with other punters. Note, though, that even in that situation, if you make it clear that you're there to pay to play, the girls will usually immediately shift their attention to you, unless the guys are regulars or they otherwise have reason to believe that they will be reaching for their wallets soon too.

Otherwise, you are not at any more of a disadvantage than anyone else, as long as you're willing to spend money. Some guys will get a lot of easy action because they deliberately spend a lot of money for it, or let their little head make the decisions - and they sometimes may even get at least a simulacrum of what they want but, truth be told, they are not "respected" by the most of the girls for anything except their propensity to think with the little head and don't really get any seriously special treatment, except getting moved to the head of the service line if demand is high. But there' still plenty of action for everyone else, even with the girls who are seemingly "spoiled" by the big spenders, because the big paydays only come along once in awhile, and the girls still have to "make the rent" with what they can make the rest of the time. They will often make ridiculous opening offers, but can usually be negotiated down to something more or less reasonable, particularly if they haven't had a big payoff recently. Some, though, just have pretty firm bottom lines all, or most, of the time, and will just shrug you off if you won't meet it, rudely or nicely, often depending on your own level of courtesy. Soo-Ae at Peach Phuzz, e.g., is like this - unless she's had a really bad week or two or three or unless she really likes you for some reason, she's not likely to come off her relatively high price (and in either case, you shouldn't necessarily expect similar treatment the next time around; she will always try to get you back up to her preferred price point. She's also generally very polite, although she can get testy if she's tired or a punter is an aggressive economizer.

(BTW, if you are willing to spend somewhere between 200-300K, Soo-Ae @ Peach Phuzz may be a good bet for you; and, if you really just want a titfuck, and make that clear upfront when settling a price, she may be willing to lower the fee significantly.)

The point is there is something acceptable and even more than acceptable, even at economy prices, for almost everyone on the Hill. As Seoulstice advised you in his comment, it just takes a willingness to shop around and hold fire until you find something you want in your price range.

I know the phrase is generally used in a different context in Japanese, but て兜の緒を締めよ (kabuto no o o shimeyo), (and I don't mean just to make sure that your condom is firmly in place.)

From far away it looked like a woman but once I got up close and almost entered it's bar, I could see it used to be a man. At best maybe it was just a woman with a manly face, but I don't think so. I really don't think it's right that there are former men working on Hooker Hill, they have their own Hill for them, they should be over there.

Doesn't this bother anyone else? As it is, I don't think I can go back to Hooker Hill as long as they have men working in the clubs there. I'm now wondering about other "women" that work the Hill.

Well I'll tell you anyway: I saw her in action with another guy in a group scene at another venue where I was otherwise productively engaged.

You're right about the place next door; the denizens of that place are trans - I have no idea whether they are pre or post-op.

Actually. the trans bars are spread out all over the place and always have been. Generally, it's not a problem since they all clearly indicate what they are - although you might need to be able at least to decipher Hangul to know that. The place next to Madrid is an obvious exception (there used to be more, particularly down on fish alley; but as you say it's not really difficult to suss out by mere visual inspection that something's (not) fishy. So what's the problem, really?

It was ad hoc. I was out with a small group on the prowl. One guy wanted to stop in his favorite bar on the Hill -- one of the larger ones, size-wise --, and one thing led to another. Only the bar owner and one other girl were available. The guy who wanted to go there wanted the owner, and nobody else was much interested in the other girl and, in any event, there weren't enough to go around. So the rest of us ordered in, as it were, bringing in our respective favorites from the neighborhood, and the other girl from the bar became a sort of pinch-hit fluffer. One guy brought in the "girl" from Madrid, who I think is a post-op. Another guy brought in both a girl and a pre-op from one of the tranny bars. There was some swapping around, but no one else, other than the fluffer, went near the pre-op and I'm not sure anyone else went for the Madrid girl. Anyway, a good time was had by all.
