New Orleans Gentlemen's Club
Here's the same write up I posted on the Polish boards last night. In short, it was OK but rather disappointing as well. Maybe I'll have to give it a second chance some time. At least the decor is nice. You can get a sense of it by checking the photos online, but of course the lighting makes everything look slightly fancier than it is in person.
First time here, later at night than I'd originally intended. I've been meaning to check this place out for years now and the opportunity presented itself. Free coat check with the entrance fee of 50 PLN, all right by the door. You get a welcome drink with that, and the waitress accosts you near the bar on your way in and ushers you to a table. There's an open bar offer as well, but that doesn't interest me.
It's not too crowded inside, and one of the bigger groups is getting ready to leave. Maybe the place isn't as classy as I'd somehow imagined, which is just as well in order to feel more at ease. But it has a theme going for it with the decor, wallpaper, and the stage. Did I mention the stage? There's a glitz-encrusted hookah pipe, divan, and round ottoman as well as some champagne bottles in the corner. Not a mirror exactly, but some kind of reflective surface with lights around the perimeter. The pole is T-shaped and goes up towards the second floor. Again, there's a definite theme going on. Almost all the girls are dressed sexily in black, except this one blonde who flashes her red top.
There are also some elevated tables near the sides of the stage, where there's apparently some kind of small VIP event going on, some guy smoking a cigarillo (I suppose) and some dancers occasionally squeeze through the chairs to sit down and join them from time to time and provide some kind of cigarette service.
What strikes me though is you don't really see that many girls around anywhere. And most of the ones I do see aren't that appealing to be honest. Which isn't to say there aren't any, but they're well hidden it seems. I do a quick scout around the ground floor and see just a couple sitting at the bar or on the cushions on the other side of the stage, behind where the guests sit. I ask about the staircase to the second floor by the entrance, but apparently only if you buy a private dance. Not like much is going on up there anyway, as I later find out. Kind of a big disappointment.
I watch some of the dances on the stage, and it seems like the girls are coming down from upstairs or out of the corners somewhere for their time to shine. It's actually entertaining enough to watch. Attractive and can dance well. Some can even climb well. There's a good choice of music that fits the theme. For example Gangsta's Paradise, but some kind of piano version, or some heavier electronic music which pumps through the sound system. Not too loud, but somehow drowns out the DJ announcing the dancers' names, for the little it matters.
But the girls and waitress aren't pushy, just the opposite. Maybe they feel like they earned enough for the night already, or maybe they feel like going after the same group of foreigners with the bottle of Bacardi. I suppose I'm not sending the right signal of promised money on the table. After what seems like forever, I catch a bite. A cute freckled girl with braces and we go upstairs. Not much going on up here it seems. There are a handful of private rooms for dances, which are like tiny replicas of a strip club itself. They're quite spacious with a pole and a mirror. A private dance costs 100 PLN, payable at the bar, but she pushes a bit for two dances in advance.
I take one dance for starters, and it's going alright. But as soon as the goodies come out, she one-sidedly negotiates that I should tip her for touching her breasts after the dance. That's kind of awkward and annoying. I've had more annoying strippers at other strip clubs at least wait until the dance is finished before asking for tips or girl drinks. I'm debating whether I should tip her at all afterwards, but I at least slip something into her garter belt as a peace offering. She wants more, big surprise. So I take it out if she doesn't want it. Apparently she does after all, and proposes that I can go back downstairs. Fine by me. Classy all the way.
So dance after dance on the stage goes by, finally some older MILFy blonde comes to sit. Not really my type, but I make polite conversation. Or I thought I did. Maybe I didn't reject her offer for a private dance coldly enough. She starts to get agitated and asks what kind of girl I'd like instead. Well, my mistake I guess.
Finally another cute girl comes along and we go upstairs for two dances. We have to wait a bit for a room to become free. She's nice to talk to and restores my hope that I might actually come back here again in the future. Maybe I need to come earlier or flash more bling in the form of drinks on the table, but you don't need to try that hard in other strip clubs.
P.S. , the front door lets in a nice cold breeze from time to time, and keeps you nice and frosty if you sit close enough. But it also seems to have quite big A/C units. So I'd hope it'd also be quite comfortable in the summer.
P. P.S, the place is apparently lady-friend friendly. While I was there some group of visitors with a bunch of girls came in and sat on the couch no problem.
Problem with garsoniera forum
Can anyone help me on how to view the review section of (MASAE. Wielkopolska) or the section of massage parlors on the garsoniera forum? Because when I go there it says Brak uprawnie lub temat zosta usunity" or error and I do not have the permission to view the page. If anyone already has an account with the option of viewing the section please share the account and help a brother in need.
