Feel bad about my original snarky comment to this post, as I thought it couldn't happen.
However, I took a walk by both places last night to check it out, and I'll be damned if the entrances weren't exactly as described (open and dark inside). Actually at Lolitas, there was a girl sitting outside. Didn't hear anyone whisper an offer for a blowjob, but it seemed certainly possible on the downlow.
Until now I have made two reports for this forum. I'm not the greatest of writers, therefore I'm a bit reluctant to post reports here. Some people have the gift of the gab, and what's on their minds they can express straight away in writing (I don't have that, haha). I made this report because most members were raving on about quarantine (which is quite a hot topic). With my report I tried to change the subject.
At first I was a bit annoyed at Detwing1's remark. But this is a forum and everyone should be able to express what's on their mind. If that's not possible, then what's the point of having a forum. But I'm glad Detwing1 checked it out. Thanks Detwing1.
I can only see 1 report that you made. Nevertheless, thanks for the report. The report is absolutely fine and feel free to report when you are back in town.
Naming the bar, cost, number of girls, age range, looks, service, and attitude are useful information for me.

Which probably accounts for so few on-the-scene reports lately and so many musings about quarantines, vaccinations and such instead.
There are bars open here and there "secretly" serving booze, of course. Put a lady with a cart out front selling grilled chicken and, hey, now it's a restaurant! And some are fairly packed with girls, nobody wearing masks, social distancing being violated all over the place, staying open much later than permitted. You might even find a go-go bar open every now and then. But the girls are wearing street clothes, not dancing on stage. The barfine is often waved, just pay the girl.
But as long as there are news reports of this and that bar being raided with staff and customers getting arrested and fined for whatever, I have not been posting updates on exactly what is going on where inside a bar.

But I do believe Pattaya Go Go bars are now officially open. Posting up to date reports on legally open bars is good as long as any grey areas are not mentioned in the reports. By grey areas I mean any skirting of current laws for example, if a bar remains open after curfew or something like that. Just use common sense in the reportage. We don't want to get anyone in trouble.

As another member reported, there are bars continuing to secretly serve alcohol and other services. However, due to the news reports of L. E raiding some of these places, you're not going to find many detailed reports on here, at least not from me. Besides, my preference is to find "freebies", either in clubs, online, or other methods, although I do like the blowjob bars and occasionally take a freelancer.
With that being said, this is Thailand. Anyone of us over here who want action, can get it. Even in COVID, its not hard.
Enjoy.
I walked by on Friday night and also saw quite a few out in front of Thermae, including a few lookers. I still get the vibe that they're looking for Japanese or Korean only customers.
On a side note, I noticed some guy taking video with his cell phone, so I'm hoping not to be on a Youtube video anytime soon.
These guys get good clear shots. Don't the girls care? They must see a guy right in front of them Filming.

I'm in BKK
I'm in BKK and indeed there are still some restrictions.
The old places are closed or not open like normal.
There are new massage salons in the game at good prices.
But the girls can't always "handle" farangs.
It already did happen twice that I had to change girls in middle of the sessions.
So it's more hit & miss at the moment.
And I don't like to drink beers and be afraid of a raid every second.
So it's different.
Oh yeah, hotel rooms are very cheap.
For the ones who don't like to bring girls to their own condo, like me.
Too much drama sometimes.

Some photographers hold cameras where they are easy to see, some use small or hidden cameras. I talked to one man who turned on video and then put his cell in shirt pocket with lens slightly above the pocket. Only special equipment was some foam in the bottom of shirt pocket to prop the camera up.

Very wise, a guy I met on here was murdered last week. Everyone is in shock. We suspect one of his endless take out's had a hand in it. I hope we find out soon. RIP dawgee. The murder was in the US.

I've seen some of the Youtube videos, and they are quite clear. Sometimes you can see the girls looking at the camera, as if they know they're being filmed.
The guy I saw on Sukhumvit, not far from Thermae, was clearly filming and didn't appear to be hiding it at all.
Filming in public is commonplace. You can film all you want on Sukhumvit and right in front of Thermae. The ladyboys are used to it. Filming inside Thermae is another matter altogether. Girls are going to blacklist you if you get caught.
Ever walked down Walking Street? Must be 50+ people filming at any given time. Sometimes from 1 single China tour group! Pre COVID of course.

That was my cue to record no more. If you did that same videoing in Tijuana, every girl would turn her back and maybe something bad would happen to you or to your camera.

The guys that used to perform on streetmeat Asia used to film in hotels all over town. Nigel and monkey man and. Igle dead, monkey man may still be around.

I used to take shots in bars 30 yrs ago with fast film and as there was no flash they thought I was fooling around, and just laughed as I snapped away.
